In the section "Tourists Flock Here," how does the author develop the idea that people enjoy the cherry trees?
By specifying that the cherry trees do not bear fruit, the author highlights that people who visit the trees do not do so for personal gain.
By inventing a scene of police chasing away cherry-picking boys, this creates a mental picture connecting the cherry trees to fun.
By noting that three railroads have advertised the cherry blossom season, the author highlights that the companies want to make the trees a tourist attraction.
By saying that few Washingtonians know about the cherry trees in their city, the author highlights that the attraction has the potential to become more famous.

Answer:
By noting that three railroads have advertised the cherry blossom season, the author highlights that the companies want to make the trees a tourist attraction
Explanation:
Cobb notes that Baltimore, Ohio, and Pennsylvania Railroads have been advertising the blooming of the trees in Washington to tourists. Despite not many Washingtonians being aware of it, the blossom trees have become a well-known tourist attraction. This means that Washingtonians are aware of the trees. It´s the railroads advertising their blooming season that they may not be aware of.

He continued to moan: "Don’t yell, my son...Have pity on your old father...Let me rest here...a little...I beg of you, I’m so tired...no more strength..." He had become childlike: weak, frightened, ______ .
Answer:
Vulnerable
Explanation:
In describing his struggle with his father, who was now very sick and oblivious of his environment, Elie Wiesel described his father as weak, frightened, and vulnerable. The book, 'Night,' was written in 1960 by Elie Wiesel to describe his travails with his father at the German concentration camp between 1944 to 1945. The conditions at the camp were so harsh that people had to struggle for their lives first before considering their loved ones.
Wiesel experienced this when he fled for life at the sound of sirens, abandoning his sick father. This is aptly summarized in the following words;
"WHEN I WOKE UP, it was daylight. That is when I remembered that I had a father. During the alert, I had followed the mob, not taking care of him. I knew he was running out of strength, close to death, and yet I had abandoned him."

Answer:
Seems like it should be An ESSAY paragraph. Are u learning about essays? If so, that's the answer.
Explanation:
A cohesive paragraph flows smoothly because each sentence is connected to others by patterns in the language such as repetition and transitions.
What is cohesion ?Cohesion refers to the way that different parts of a paragraph or text are linked together to create a unified whole. When a paragraph is cohesive, the ideas presented within it are organized and connected in a logical way, making it easy for the reader to follow the writer's thoughts.
One way that cohesion is achieved is through the use of repetition. This might involve repeating key words or phrases throughout the paragraph, or using pronouns to refer back to previously mentioned concepts. Repetition helps to reinforce the central ideas of the paragraph and create a sense of unity.
Another way to achieve cohesion is through the use of transitions. Transitions are words, phrases, or sentences that help to connect different ideas within a paragraph, signaling to the reader how the writer's thoughts are related.
Examples of transition words and phrases include "however," "in addition," "therefore," and "on the other hand." By using these types of markers, the writer can guide the reader through their thought process and ensure that each idea is connected to the next.
In summary, a paragraph that flows smoothly is one that is cohesive, meaning that its sentences are connected to each other in a logical way through the use of patterns in the language, such as repetition and transitions.

Essay about your Christmas break
Don't copy from a website.
My Christmas break started off Amazing! Every year when it's Christmas I go and I sleep over with my cousins and when I mean cousins, their were about 12 of them over their, the first thing I did when I was getting ready to go over their I took all my devices my laptop my iPad ext. Because I knew all my cousins had their electronics and devices and we can play games. I also took my clothes as well because it's a sleep over of course. I've never think I'd be so excited before because since of the pandemic mostly everybody is staying home and there's barely anything you can even do outside.
So, going to my aunt's house with my cousins was at-least something fun and better to do instead of staying indoors all day long on my phone. Time passes, and I'm here at my aunts house! I dashed through the car door ran up to the door and rang the bell. My aunt opened the door greeted me, and there I saw all my cousins in the living room. I rushed to them with the devices in my bag moving up and down.
We All sat on the floor in the living room and came up with idea's of what we should do. I told them lets play hide and seek tag, but not in the house because theirs 13 of us and we'd have no place to hide. They all agreed with me since they had no idea what to do at all, We did this game called "the sky is blue so god loves you" Basically a game where we all put our feet in and someone repeatedly points at our foot and if our finger points at that persons shoe their it! We all chose who should point the finger at our shoe. They said they needed someone to do it correctly and my cousin named "Aleena" Said she'd volunteer.
The time goes by and two seekers were their to find us. We all split up and went to our back yard, since our backyard is huge we'd be able to find our own hiding places. Cheeky me, Went near the front yard and thought confidently no one would find me. I sat there for about 10 minute's and I heard foot steps I hold my breathe so hard because I didn't want to get caught. Luckily it was my other cousin running close to the front yard and saw me, and quickly ran to my direction.
I told him that you could've got me caught and what you did was very risky. He told me he was sorry and said he'd move and he went out of the front gate. the time was getting really late as I was sitting their for about 18 minutes, it was getting late each second and thought to myself "When will they find me?" I decided I was sitting their to long, so I stood up and gave up and came out of the open. There one of my cousins who spot me that was it told me I was the last one and you could've won. I told her that it was alright anyways and I was getting bored of sitting their. Plus, it was getting cold since the season we were in is the winter.
We went inside, And we all took our bath's. And that was when we were going to start using our electronics. I took out mine and we all started playing games. And some of my other cousins were watching TV. It was getting very late. and I started dosing off. Soon enough I fell as-sleep. The next day hit, I woke up brushed my teeth did all the casual things mostly everybody would do. And made myself cereal. unfortunately, today was the day I finally had to go. I felt kinda sad but felt good because At-least I did something rather then doing nothing at home. Plus, it really wasn't the end of the world since i'll be doing this next year anyways!
Hello! I hoped you like this. This isn't really true I did none of this. Just made it up out of my head but hoped this helped

Passage Name: The Ski Run
From the top of the ski run, the mountainside below Ian was an ocean of white as he gripped his poles like an Olympic racer and prepared to push off. Behind him, a timid sun poked through the heavy blanket of purple cloud that had descended upon the ski area, briefly illuminating the top section of the run. Ian took full advantage. He headed straight for the sunny spots and glided his freshly waxed skis across the crusty top layer of icy snow. As he made his way into the woodsy part of the run, the sun snapped out like a light bulb. The trail through the fir trees, towering like skyscrapers around Ian, became impossible to discern. Flakes the size of ping-pong balls fell heavily now. As he came to the edge of the woods, the wind whipped up with a roar, swirling snow filling his vision. He could no longer make out the terrain in front of him. All Ian could do now was stop and wait, hunker against a tree trunk, and pray the storm would lift as quickly as it came.
How does the precise, sensory language contribute to the mood of this passage?
A. It suggests that Ian is a thrill seeker.
B. It conveys the passage of time.
C. It creates a feeling of safety.
D. It helps to build the tension.
