One time I was walking through the woods. Not just any woods, but woods that exemplify the definition of ethereal. I wanted to laugh. I wanted to cry. I wanted to scream. It was just me. I walked for what seemed like a lifetime only to rest under what seemed like a never ending stair of daunting oaks looking down upon me. I pondered the virtues that humans hold so dear. I pondered the true meaning of life. I pondered what it means to be human. In the end, I found that nothing is nothing and everything is everything. We aren’t here for any exact reason, rather, we’re here for no reason at all. If I was to dictate the feeling I felt at that moment, perhaps I would explain it as an epiphany as to the true nature of existence. We are here to enjoy life. Humans too often think of what is outside of our planet, our solar system, our galaxy. But what I found most interesting, is that we truly don’t know what it is that makes us human, not an animal, but human. We have evolved to expand beyond mother nature’s beautifully designed ecosystems in order to form our own “ecosystem”. Is it our language, our notions of society, our cultures, or is it even our mastery of enviromental manipulation that makes us human? For, I do not have an answer to any of these questions. What I do know is that life isn’t about answering these questions, rather enjoying what is dear to oneself. A. well I wouldn't say it is a run-on sentence because a run-on sentence is like this "I like to eat ice cream it is so yummy I would eat an ice cream every day if I want to."

B. I don't think it is a fragment, it has a subject "cat", it has the verb

"went meow." The sentence runs smoothly. "While it may be punctuated to look like a complete sentence, a fragment cannot stand on its own." But this sentence can stand on it's own, so not a fragment!

C. I think it would be a complete sentece, you have a subject, a verb, and it runs smoothly. You can understand it well too!

Read the short story.

One afternoon, Billy's father decided it was time to teach his young son how to ride a bicycle. The two headed out to the driveway after lunch. Billy's father removed Billy's training wheels and made sure the boy's helmet was fastened tightly. Then he held the bike while Billy tried to balance. Billy tried to balance and pedal at the same time. He just couldn't seem to get it. By one o'clock, Billy had two skinned knees and a bruised elbow.

Which conclusion would readers find most engaging?

After a few more tries, Billy's father gives up. He drags the old, red wagon out of the garage and pulls Billy up and down the driveway instead.

On Billy's last attempt, he crashes into a nearby tree, falls off his bike, and breaks his arm. Billy and his father spend the rest of the day in the hospital.

Billy's brother sees what is going on from his bedroom window. He heads outside and gives Billy a tip about keeping his chin up. Soon, Billy is riding with ease.

Billy gets frustrated and starts to cry. He pushes his bike down on the lawn and throws his helmet off. Then he tells his father that he doesn't want to learn how to ride a bike.

3. How can you make the story about sea adventure more interesting?
A. Add the sound of waves and the sea shell horn to set the tone of the story. .
B. Add the sound of crickets and frogs.
C. Add o pop song to lighten the mood

Answers

Answer:

1. B. A video showing now Achilles was killed by an arrow in his ankle

2* No image was included

3. A. Add the sound of waves and the sea shell horn to set the tone of the story. .

Explanation:

For a narrator describing and showing the meaning of Achilles heel visually, the best way to illustrate this would be to show a video depicting Achilles being killed by an arrow to his ankle.

P. S The meaning of Achilles heel is to have a weakness that can be exploited and according to Greek myth, Achilles was dipped into the river Styx by his mother as a child which made his body indestructible, the only problem as that she held him by the ankles so he could be mortally wounded with a strike to the heel/ankle.

A story about sea adventure can be made more interesting by adding the sound of waves and the sea shell horn to set the tone of the story. The effect of this would be to make the audience aware of the atmosphere of the sea.
