For me it was different then it was for others.  Mine didn't hurt at all, it just felt really weird for a while...until you get used to it.  I always got blue for the bands but i dont know if you want the same.  I think it always looks good to have the light blue but it depends on your opinion.  It didn't hurt me it just felt weird.  You might have troubles talking for a little while, like you might have slurred words or something like that.  Its different for everyone though.
