Answer:
d.
Some students enroll in classes that cram a full-year's load of material into a six-week course.
Explanation:
The correct revision that combines sentences 3 and 4 using a dependent clause is "Some students enroll in classes that cram a full-year's load of material into a six-week course." The correct option is d.
This version unifies the two phrases by inserting a dependent clause ("that cram a full-year's load of material into a six-week course") that offers more information about the classes that some students enroll in.
The dependent phrase functions as an adjective clause, defining the sort of classes that the students enroll in.
The material from the original sentences is essentially combined into a single sentence with a dependent clause in this alteration.
Thus, the correct option is d.

into the Woods
In a little town in New York was a family. A baker, his wife, Emily and her little sister, me CJ. We lived in the bakery where we worked. I am a blonde girl, 13 years old, and is very overprotective of my older sister. Emily also has blond hair, 38 years old, and caring. The baker is different though. He has brown hair, 39 years old, and very stubborn. One day a witch came and told my sister and the baker that they could not have a child which they wanted for a long time now. She told them that if they wanted a child they would have to get her 4 things from the woods.
When we went into the woods I lost them and got lost in the woods. After a while they realized they had lost me and went to go look for me hoping I was ok. It was cold, dark, and very dangerous. I was scared. I wanted my sister. I was hoping they would find me soon, but I was wrong. The next day I was still in the woods all alone. I was starving, but then a 18 year old girl came and found me. She had brown hair and brown eyes. She took me to this cabin in the woods of hers and gave me food and I went back in the woods to look for Emily.
A little after a wolf came. It was a big black wolf with cold dark eyes. I asked it to not eat me and then it replied “I'm not going to eat you.” Then I realized I could talk to animals. I asked the wolf “Can you help me? I'm trying to find my sister.” She starts to track her down. We never found her because it got dark. She took us to her cave and let me sleep there. The next day we went looking again. I knew we were getting closer because I found Emily's necklace. I started yelling her name, but I heard nothing. I thought they would have given up by now and forgotten all about me, but I didn't give up, I kept looking. We stopped for the night.
I was the first to get up. I sat and waited for Bella to get up. I sat there remembering all the fun times me and Emily had together hoping she didn't give up on me. Bella got up and started to track her. I found her bracelet I made for her. I knew we were getting closer and closer. I couldn't wait to see Emily. She is the last real family member I have.
It was two days later. Me and Bella were looking for Emily. I heard Emily’s voice. I ran to it yelling her name. I found her. She told me that she was worried about me and that she thought she would never find me. I was so excited to see her. Tears were pouring down my face. We went to find the rest of the stuff for the witch and went back to her. We gave her the things and they got what they wanted. They had a baby boy and I became an aunt. I was so happy to be home. Everything was back to normal.

Explanation:
Considering Lula's point of view, explain in a response of at least 150 words one reason why Calpurnia might, in fact, have been wrong to bring Jem and Scout to church in To Kill a Mockingbird.
Answer:
Cal brought the children to church with an innocent objective but considering the racism issue in Maycomb, it was risky for Cal to put two white kids among blacks.
Explanation:
Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird revolves around the story of the Finch family and how race plays the main theme in it. Narrated by the youngest character Jean "Scout" Finch, the classic focuses on the issues pertaining to racism, right vs. wrong, morality, etc.
Calpurnia took the kids to her black church in chapter 12. But once they were there, Lula protested why there were white kids in a black church. Considering the racial situation in Maycomb, Lula's concern in having a white person among them was a concerning situation. Blacks were targeted and looked down upon. So, it is only obvious that she will be wary of having whites in the church. Moreover, the racial disparity between the whites and the blacks plays a major role in the story.
Though we know that Cal brought the kids because she felt it's her duty to keep them safe and occupied even on her off days, taking them to a black church seems too much of an act to be done. Though it was done with an innocent objective, there can always be others who would be offended by the act.

motive for immigration.
for essay
Answer:
An immigrant is a person from one country who moves to another country permanently for a better life. There are many different reasons why people have their country to go to another country. Actually, I'm not an immigrant. However, according to my own experience, some people move to another country to find jobs, but some move to another country to look forward to their better education. Now, I know but many people from Micronesian are getting married in the United State, and they become immigrants to the United States.
Being an immigrant to the United States is not easy. What I mean is the way of life is not easy for some people, because everything is about money. We have to pay for everything. But in our island of Chuuk, nothing is difficult. Only we have the right to do whatever we want to d. But in the US there are many things we must go through if we want something, and we also spend a lot of money for many reasons: rent, water, food. Everything always costs money.
There are many sacrifices people face while they are immigrants. They work long hourse for more money, but they don't have enough time with their family. Some people work 24 hours in order to have enough money for their rent and bills. Some people even get sick because of working hard during the day and night. But, they dont chose to quit their jobs, because they must work hard to get money for their needs and wants.
In conclusion, being and immigran is not an easy way to live well and have a betterlife. For immigrants it is not easy to adopt the culture and the way that people behave.
