What does the scene in the bathroom reveal about Rashad’s relationship with his friends?

Answers

Answer:

Rashad has a very cordial relationship with his friends.

Explanation:

In the book 'All American Boys', by Jason Reynolds, we are introduced to the bathroom scene where a young boy named Rashad, and his friends English Jones, Carlos Greene, and Shannon Pushcart, assemble in the bathroom to talk about the party in the home of their friend Jill. They tease each other just like any other young group of friends but are civil towards each other. This indicates that they had a cordial relationship among themselves.

Rahad is the focus of the story and he is a young, black, teenage boy whose father wanted to join the military but who did not share the same interests or like that idea. In a shop, he is accused of attempting to steal an item even though he was innocent.

Answers

Answer: b. Two reflecting pools with waterfalls were built in the footprints of the World Trade  Center buildings.

Explanation:

Personification refers to giving a inanimate object or an animal the characteristics of a human being such that describing it becomes easier.

By stating that the World Trade Centre had footprints, the sentence is giving the two buildings a human characteristic even though buildings cannot have footprints but by using the word, the reader is able to discern that the pools were built on the area where the World Trade Centre buildings once stood.

What roles did men and woman play in their villages? To the Plains Native American tribes, what controlled events in the natural world?

Answers

Explanation:

Mens’ role in societies have always been that of protector and provider. Biologically, human societies are stratified into men and   women dichotomies. All the known societies are unequally  distributed. In small food producing societies, the inequality is  limited to dyadic and non categorical prestige bases (pathy,  1987). There is some sort of identified division of labour  between male and female in every kind of society. But, Marx  stated that every form of society presupposes some rudimentry  division of labour. Likewise, Mair (1999) views that the  biological division of human into male and female is the basis of  the most elementary social stratification everywhere. The  division of labour means the fact that women bear and suckle  children, and are tied to the domestic sphere for much of their  lives. Wolf considers social inequality not as phenomena sui  generis but as an accompaniment of the working out of  determinental modes of production (quoted by Pathy, 1987).  After 1990s, the gender relationship between male and  female has emerged as one of the major issues in Nepal. This  issue draws the attentions of scholars, professionals, politicians  and public and policy makers. Gender is defined as socially and  CUlturally constructed accepted behaviours and relations between  male and female. Behaviours and relations are structured in the  society. In other words, most of the behaviours and relations are  deeply rooted in social, cultural, political, economic and  religious frameworks. In some traditional societies, the gender  roles are more rigid than in urban and industrial societies.

4. The signers of the declaration of independence knew that their announcement could mean war with powerful, well-equipped Britain. In your opinion, why isn't that idea more prominent in this document

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

In my opinion, what happened was that the American colonists were upset, tired, and desperate for freedom. They indeed were mad about the heavy taxation imposed by the English government such as the Navigation Acts, the Tea Act, or the Stamp Act, and many others. They felt that taxation without representation in the British Parliament was totally unfair.

That is why Thomas Jefferson, and the other four prominent Americans who drafted the Declaration of Independence, were not afraid to anger the British crown. They knew they were at a disadvantage against the powerful British Army, but they also knew that Britain was facing many conflicts in Europe, plus the colonists could not stand one more authoritarian decision from the king. Colonists were ready for the consequences and that is why the Declaration was written with that tone.

Describe the characteristics of the Nile River and the river's importance to the people of Egypt. Write a paragraph of at least 5 complete
sentences.

Answers

Answer:

The Nile River helped the people of Egypt have a source of water to create a civilization and also provided as a form of transportation and kept the temperatures down.  Without the nile River, Egypt's people would have terrible conditions to live in because most of Egypt is hot desert.Egypt would most likely have a very small population (like 50,000) if the nile river didn't exist. Notice how most of Egypt's cities are along the coastline of the Nile River or the Ocean.

Explanation:

The Nile is the longest river in the world, at more than 4,000 miles long. It flows north through Egypt and empties into the Mediterranean Sea. The river is the only source of water for Egypt and Sudan, and is extremely important for agriculture. The river irrigates the surrounding farmland and allows farmers to grow crops like cotton. Most people in Egypt live in the river valley, and the largest cities, like Cairo, are located on its banks. It makes up just 3% of the land area of Egypt, but about 99% of the people live there.

Answer:

Archaeologists have discovered the first physical evidence of cannibalism by desperate English colonists driven by hunger during the Starving Time of 1609-1610 at Jamestown, Virginia (map)—the first permanent English settlement in the New World. Portions of the butchered skull and shinbone of a 14-year-old girl from England, dubbed “Jane” by researchers, were unearthed by Jamestown archaeologists last year. They found the remains about 2.5 feet (0.8 meters) down in a 17th century trash deposit in the cellar of a building built in 1608 inside the James Fort site.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You did not include options for this question. However, we can say the following.

The United States Constitution established a government based on the basic concepts of separation of powers and checks and balances. The authors of the Constitution included these two concepts because they wanted the three branches to have a balance in power in which none of the three would be more powerful than the other. So the drafters of the US Constitution included controls to keep that balance. The three branches are the executive branch or the President, the legislative branch with tho chambers, and the judicial power or the US Supreme Court.

In an experiment, a researcher can make claims about causation if:_________a) changing the dependent variable resulted in changes in the independent variableb) is the same regardless of the number of degrees of rotationc) changing the independent variable resulted in changes in the dependent variabled) depends on the familiarity of the object being rotated.

Answers

Answer:

c) changing the independent variable resulted in changes in the dependent variable

Explanation:

Causation: In psychology, the term "causation" is determined as a process that shows a specific relationship between two different variables i.e, if any changes occur in the level of one variable then it will directly cause in the level of the other variable. However, it is feasible for the two different variables to be connected with one another without of these variables causing an "observed behavior" in the another variable.

In the question above, the given statement represents that option C is correct.
