Write the missing scene in which Daisy Fay reads a letter from Gatsby on the night before her wedding

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

While the hairdresser finished the hairstyle that Daisy would wear at the ceremony, one of the employees of the house enters the room and, when approaching Daisy, presents an envelope in a tray. Daisy had just received a letter and although the letter had no return address, Daisy wondered who could have written it.

Daisy waited for the hairdresser to leave the room to open the envelope and access its contents. The letter was short and to the point, where Daisy can read:

"My beloved Daisy

Could fate be so cruel as to separate us in this way? Could you be so cruel that you don't care about us? I imagine the answer that forms in your mind, but I am not convinced of such an unjust and sad fate.

I ask you to follow your plans, but do not forget my existence, as I will return with sufficient resources for you, so that you will never abandon me again.

Forever Yours

G."

Upon finishing the letter, Daisy was nervous and trembling like never before. She tore the paper before anyone could find it and a feeling of sadness invaded her. She didn't want to be marrying Tom, but she couldn't give up her life of wealth and good social standing, and that, Gatsby couldn't offer her. Decided on her fate, Daisy finished her glass of wine, dried her tears and left the room, ready for the wedding.

Explanation:

Gatsby and Daisy are characters in "The Great Gatsby" and are in love with each other, but Daisy, used to a life of wealth and prosperity, decides to marry Tom, a rich and powerful man, who would maintain her high standard of living. Gatsby was not wealthy and so he would have no chance of doing it even though she loved him.

"The Grat Gatsby" addresses the decadence of the American dream and the problems surrounding American high society.

Explanation:

The first period is the Reinassance, which was from the 1300s to 1600s approximately, this period was born in Europe, where the artist´s mater pieces were based mainly on the human factions, all related to the church. We have artist such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Botticelli, Dante, Machiavelli whom created a bunch of great art that is nowadays still recognized. The authors portray the society´s ideals through their literature by reflecting the fact that society had a closed way to see life, only based on what the church said, the medicine was denied and the dark literature appiered reflecting the dark thoughs of its authors.

The second period is the Illustration, which was from the 1880s to 1930s, this period was very different from the Reinassance because people started to look up for knowledge, science, and the literature reflected that as well. advice a grade 12 learner on how to find a balance between the new found freedom and responsible behaviour

Answers

when you have newfound freedoms and still want to be responsible you must set yourself some ground rules as to what you won’t do and whenever you go against your rules punish yourself in some way like doing extra work or not going out

In order to advise a 12-year-old on how to strike a balance between gaining freedom and responsible behavior, it is necessary to understand more about the important aspects of social and cognitive development in this age group.

Psychosocial Development

It is a psychoanalyst Erikson's theory, which is based on the growth of an individual with his track, conflicts and agreement in accordance with the world and himself.

According to Erikson, a 12-year-old individual is not in the Fourth Stage of development, which occurs from 6 to 12 years old, corresponds to the conflict over productivity and inferiority, in which there is an increase in the perception of himself and his competences.

Therefore, this phase of the beginning of the logical child is marked by the transition of the child who perceives himself as a more developed being and capable of having more autonomy to solve cognitive problems, with interpersonal relationships being valued.

The Black Death

A The growing cities of the Middle Ages could be exciting places. However, many were dark, unsafe, and unhealthy. Streets were narrow, crooked, and filthy. There were no streetlights or police. Many people did not go out alone at night for fear of robbers. If people did go out, they often took servants along with them for protection and to carry lanterns or torches to light the way. Waste was dumped into open gutters. All in all, conditions were disgusting. This caused diseases to spread quickly through the crowded cities.
B Beginning in 1347, one such disease, a terrible plague, swept through Europe. The disease was called the Black Death because of the darkened color of its victims’ faces after they died. The plague began in Asia and spread along busy trade routes. Trading ships carried the disease west to the Mediterranean. From the Mediterranean ports, the disease spread throughout most of Europe. Rats on the ships carried the disease. Fleas from the rats spread the disease to people.
C Once people became infected, the disease could be spread from person to person. People became infected as they came in contact with the sick. According to Jean de Venette, a friar who lived at the time, young people were more likely to die than old people. Those who got sick lasted only two or three days and then died suddenly. This happened in such great numbers that often those who lived could not keep up with burying the dead. The friar wrote, “Someone who was healthy one day could be dead and buried the next. . . . A healthy person who visited the sick hardly ever escaped death.”
D No one knows the exact number of plague deaths in Europe. Some guess that about 25 million people died in Europe from 1347 to 1351. This was about one third of the entire population. The death rate varied from place to place. Towns seemed to be harder hit than the countryside. Some entire villages and towns were wiped out. The plague affected the rich as well as the poor. Even the great and powerful, including royalty, were struck down. Throughout Europe, populations were devastated by, as the Welsh called it, “death coming into our midst like black smoke.”
E The Black Death greatly affected Europe. Relations between the upper classes and lower classes changed. Workers, now in short supply, demanded higher wages. In several European countries, peasants staged uprisings. There were emotional effects as well. In some areas, the theme of death appeared in poetry, sculpture, and painting. People’s faith was shaken. The church lost some of its power and importance. The Black Death took a greater toll on human life than any war or illness before that time. It was perhaps the greatest tragedy in all of European history.

write dialogue you and your brother share room .his untidiness is proving to be problem and you feel you need to tell him about your unhappiness.

Answers

Answer:

"Hey, bro will you clean your area of the room it looks gross to me. Sooooo, please clean your area of the room." (person name) said.

Explanation:

- Me: We must speak very seriously brother.

- My brother: Sure! Tell me, what happens?

- Me: Well, this will sound a bit strong, but I think that since we must share a room, the least you can do is tidy up both your bed and the clothes and other implements that are inside the room.

- My brother: Excuse me, I didn't know it bothered you.

- Me: Well, it's not that I'm a fan of cleanliness or anything like that, but I do want our room to always look more or less tidy, so as not to feel embarrassed if a friend comes or mom and dad want to come in.

- My brother: I understand, could you tell me what are the things that I should improve?

- Me: Sure, in particular you should make your bed in the morning every day, put your clothes in the laundry basket, and if you have things on the floor like shoes, the controls of your video game console or another, leave it in its place before you go to study.

- My brother: It will cost me a bit to do it because I am not used to it.

- Me: I know, but the fact that you do it from here on will allow me not to be afraid to bring a friend and see that mess, last time it was really embarrassing, I almost wanted to disappear.

- My brother: I am going to make a deal with my mother, if one day I forget to do any of these activities, I will ask her to please do it for me and when I return I will do another household chore that she considers equivalent.

- Me: Sounds very good to me and I thank you for your understanding. I thought maybe you would be more troublesome.

- My brother: Not at all, also if I need a favor from you I know that you will not refuse in the future.

- Me: I knew you had something on your hands.

In the dialogue above, I have used the context of two brothers who have a good relationship, although it is true that it is more common for two siblings who share a room to have many problems due to their immaturity, sometimes it may surprise us that our brothers can be very understanding, so I wanted to reflect that situation in the text.
