Answer 1

I got my new bundle of books when I entered class VIII. Class Teacher told that we will be having our unit test in a month's time. So, I thought of studying from the beginning. I picked up a book which looked attractive. It was so interesting that I spent fifteen days in reading this without caring I have to more books to go. Then, one day my friend Hanif called to ask about my preparation. I replied joyfully that I have completed the book on moral values. He said that we hardly have any such book for this exam. Later, I came to know that the book was meant for class IX and had come in my bundle by mistake. Now, my mind stopped working. Three books and just 12 days to prepare. I wasted two days in anxiety for I was not able to grasp anything. Then, I composed myself and thought of beginning again. The exam day arrived and I was almost shivering with fear. I saw the paper and almost jumped with joy as it contained a 20 marks essay on moral values. The rest three questions I managed to attempt but this one I wrote with great confidence.

"21st Century learners are tech savvy and teaching them on their literal and figurative playground is a way to meet them halfway."

Answers

Answer:

for sure! it's basically saying "kids these days are good at using electronics so using electronics in their learning is an easier way to teach them stuff"

Explanation:

21 Century learners = us, students living and learning in this century

are tech savvy = we've grown up around technology and are usually much better at it than older people (savvy means to be good at something)

their literal and figurative playground = teaching them through things to do with technology, like doing stuff on computers and including electronics in learning

is a way to meet them halfway = sort of compromising with students on how to teach them the content, in this case by using tech in their learning

This module will focus on health and safety at work. what is the connection between this topic and the proverb? how does this topic relate to real life?

Answers

The question is incomplete, and the full version can be found on Brainly.

Answer:

The proverb "Safety doesn't happen by accident" is connected to the topic of health and safety at work because it refers to how much effort it takes to provide a safe environment, which applies to the work environment.

Explanation:

The proverb is a play on the words "safety" and "accident" by noting the irony of how avoiding accidents, which is the same as providing safety, requires effort. A healthy and safe environment at work, without accidents, requires a strong protocol that must be followed by everyone involved.

If you have already mentioned the author/speaker's name in your sentence, you do not need to include it in the parenthetical citation

Answers

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Citation of sources in any academic writing is one way of making sure the research paper is authentic and also has credibility. This citation allows the readers to understand as well as refer (if needed) to the sources used by the researcher.

With regards to how an author's name is included in the in-text citation, there are two ways to do that. One is when the author's name is included in the sentence itself where the 'quote' is included. Another way is when just the quote is given, then the author's name must be included in the parenthetical citation along with the page number.

For instance,

According to "author's name", ............................. (page number)

or

............................................ (author's name, page number)

Thus, the given statement is true.

Assert a claim that explains the extent to which school officials should restrict students' clothing choices.

Explain how your claim is either supported by others or in conflict with others.

Include at least one summary statement and one direct quotation.

Cite the sources you are referencing by using the last names of fellow students.
