Will citizens photojournalist take over the new industry
Answer:
Don't get me wrong. I think it's great that citizen photojournalism exists. If you care about truth, then more people documenting the news of a community is a great and useful trend. Professionals can't be everywhere at once. It could be a fire, an act of injustice or a moment to celebrate. More eyes on our communities are productive for our truth ecosystem. For these reasons, the Tribune embraces citizen photojournalism while being careful about vetting published images.

Answer:
To spread kindness, I would help put up posters in schools and would start small after school programs to help out with bullying and to spread kindness to others. Activities would be done in the program and would be about how to be nicer and help clean up stuff for people, such as librarians and people who help out with lunches. Lastly, I would tell teachers to put up small notes of encouragement across the classrooms and hallways for other students or teachers to see.

Give the adverbial form of the word habit
Answer:
Habitually.
Explanation:
A verb is one of the parts of speech in English language. Verbs can be defined as any word that describes an action, occurrence, or state of existence. Some examples of verb are dance, sing, walk, play, run, sit, habit, etc.
An adverb can be defined as a word that is used in English language to modify a verb, adjective, or another adverb. Some examples are slowly, quickly, brightly, sadly, etc.
When an adverb is used to refer to a whole sentence in order to express an opinion, describe an attitude or simply act as a comment, it is known as a sentence adverb. Some examples of this type of adverb are however, clearly, sadly, evidently, fortunately, seriously, curiously, actually, presumably, apparently, etc.
Furthermore, the adverbial form of a word is usually formed by the suffix "ly" to a verb.
Hence, the adverbial form of the word "habit" is habitually. This simply means an action that is performed regularly, frequently or usually i.e in a habitual manner.

Answer: through his interactions with elisa
Explanation:
Read the passage from "The Salem (and Other) Witch Hunts,” which is an informational text about witch hunts in the late 1600s.
The sentencing of Bridget Bishop, the first victim of the witch trials, was typical of the Salem justice. Bishop was accused of not living "a Puritan lifestyle" because she wore black clothing. Her coat had been found to be oddly "cut or torn in two ways,” and her behavior was regarded as "immoral.” Thus convicted of witchcraft, she was tried on June 10, 1692, and executed by hanging the same day.
Immediately following this execution, the court adjourned for 20 days and asked for advice from New England's most influential ministers "upon the state of things as they then stood.” A mere five days later, they produced a voluble answer penned by Cotton Mather, the prolific pamphleteer of the period, assuring the court and the grand jury that they had done well.
The prominent ministers "humbly recommend[ed]" more of the same: that is, "the speedy and vigorous prosecution of such as have rendered themselves obnoxious, according to the direction given in the laws of God, and the wholesome statutes of the English nation . . . ”
More people were accused, arrested and examined, but historians believe that by September 1692 the hysteria had begun to abate and public opinion turned against the trials.
Which text structure supports the idea that the sentencing was swift and the hysteria surrounding the witch hunts was relatively short-lived?
sequence
comparison-contrast
cause-effect
problem-solution
Answer:
The text structure which supports the idea that the sentencing was swift and the hysteria surrounding the witch hunts was relatively short-lived is:
A. sequence.
Explanation:
The two points or topics presented and discussed in the passage are precisely those: the quickness in sentencing the accused, and the fact that the witch hunts did not last for long. However, the two topics are not connected. One is not the consequence of the other. One is not the solution for the other. One is not compared to the other. That is why the author chooses to use a structure that relies on sequencing the events. Dates are mentioned with that purpose:
- in June 10 of 1692 there was the first trial;
- the sentencing in that one as well as others was always fast;
- by September of 1962, the public opinion was already against the trials.
We have basically a sequence of events above. What the author is doing, primarily, is saying that first this thing happened, and then this other thing happened.
help pleas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mary Anning: First Fossil Hunter
Smack! Smash! Splash! In 1799, Mary Anning was born to the sound of ocean waves crashing against the cliffs of Lyme Regis, England. When Mary was just a few years old, she and her older brother, Joseph, would go to the town's seashore with her father. Here Mary's father taught his children how to hunt for fossils in the rocks and cliffs. At this time, scientists were just beginning to understand fossils, or the remains of plants and animals that lived long, long ago. Wealthy visitors would come to Lyme Regis to vacation. The Anning family had little money, so they would sell the small fossils they found to these tourists.
Mary was a quiet girl. Some might say that in Mary's case still waters run deep because she was also bright, curious, and a hard worker who spent long days on the beach looking for fossils. She needed to help her family survive. Life was hard and when it rains, it pours. Soon, Mary's father died. Although she was only 10, Mary was forced to quit school, and now she needed to work even harder to find fossils to sell. Because of unstable cliffs, battering waves, and sudden storms, Mary had to be bold and daring. It was dangerous work.
But one day, something happened to show that every cloud has a silver lining. When Mary was about 12, Joseph made a fantastic find. He found a large fossil skull that had a long nose and many teeth.
First, Mary planned how to uncover the rest of the creature. Then, over several months, she unearthed each part of the fossil. Since haste makes waste, Mary did not want to hurry and damage the fossil. She chiseled and chipped slowly, tapping and brushing carefully. Finally, Mary uncovered an almost complete skeleton of a prehistoric creature. A wealthy neighbor bought the fossils and later scientists named the creature ichthyosaur, or fish-lizard.
The discovery of the ichthyosaur called attention to Mary as a fossil hunter, but her family was still poor. Mary continued to uncover fossils to sell. Even though she had little formal schooling, Mary knew how to read and write. During her teenage years, Mary taught herself about rocks, animals, fish, and the earth. She wrote letters to well-known scientists. Some scientists came to visit her in Lyme Regis.
About 11 years after finding ichthyosaur, Mary made another astonishing discovery. She dug out another reptile that had lived in the sea, the first complete plesiosaur. The plesiosaur was nine feet long with a lizard's head and crocodile teeth. Scientists called the long-necked plesiosaur the sea dragon. This was followed by her discovery of the rare fossil of the flying dragon, pterodactyl.
With each discovery, Mary's fame grew. Visitors followed her on fossil hunts, and scientists combed the beach with her. Throughout her life, Mary looked for fossils. She was one of the first persons to make a living as a fossil hunter. Mary helped solve the puzzle of what life was like long ago.
After her death in 1847, Mary was honored with a stained-glass window in the church of Lyme Regis. Many of the fossils Mary Anning uncovered are still studied and displayed in museums.
Why does the author state the date of Mary's birth at the beginning of the passage and the date of her death at the end of the passage?
A.
to show the time order of events in Mary's life
B.
to show what caused Mary to be interested in fossils
C.
to show how Mary's life was different from Joseph's life
D.
to show the effects of the hard life that Mary's family lived
