Why did Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda attack the US?

Answers

Answer 1

Sorry I'm late! Here you go:

After the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in 1979, bin Laden had seen the attack as an insult and act of aggression towards Islam. That's when he began to start a resistance against the Union. He had collaborated with many Arab volunteers to help with the resistance. After much help from Afghan resistance leaders and his collaboration with Azzam, Osama had created a militant network named al-Qaeda (the Base) in 1988. This is basically how him and his base attacked the U.S., 12 years later.

What is the name of the type of song that is said to have evolved into Theatre?
Peisistratos
Dithyrambs
Dionysus
Rock n' Roll

Answers

Answer: dithyrambs

Explanation: The earliest origins of drama are to be found in Athens where ancient hymns, called dithyrambs, were sung in honor of the god Dionysus. These hymns were later adapted for choral processions in which participants would dress up in costumes and masks. Eventually, certain members of the chorus evolved to take special roles within the procession, but they were not yet actors in the way we would understand it.

That development came later in the 6th century BC, when the tyrant Pisistratus, who then ruled the city, established a series of new public festivals. One of these, the 'City Dionysia', a festival of entertainment held in honor of the god Dionysus, featured competitions in music, singing, dance and poetry. And most remarkable of all the winners was said to be a wandering bard called Thespis.

According to tradition, in 534 or 535 BC, Thespis astounded audiences by leaping on to the back of a wooden cart and reciting poetry as if he was the characters whose lines he was reading. In doing so he became the world's first actor, and it is from him that we get the world thespian.

What do you think have been the three most important international developments during Ronald Reagan's two terms of office?

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

What do you think have been the three most important international developments during Ronald Reagan's two terms of office?

I think the three most important international developments during Ronald Reagan's two terms of office were the following.

1.- The support he offered to the rebels in Afghanistan who were fighting the Russian army that had invaded the country.

2.- The help President Reagan offered to Central American countries such as Guatemala Nicaragua, and El Salvador to contain the spread of Communism.

3.- President Reagan is credited to have ended the Cold War.

One of the reasons that led to the final days of the Cold War was that Ronald Reagan’s plan to outspend the Soviet Union led to a collapse of the Soviet economy and the political overthrow of its government.

US President Ronald Reagan knew that the Soviet Union was a military power but its economy was not good at all. The USRR Communist system had failed to provide enough food and products to Russians. Russia was in need to trade with Western countries if they wanted to avoid an economic collapse. Another factor that heavily contributed to the end of the Soviet Union was the political measures implemented by Soviet leader Mikail Gorbachev, called Perestroika and Galsnot.
