Which voting system is better Electoral College or National Popular Vote (NPV) EXPLAIN.

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Electoral College

Explanation:

The Electoral College allows for the voices of all people, regardless if they live in the city, or elsewhere to be heard on a national level. When on a national level, the view points in which prescribed to the office regards "all lands regulated by the government" as well as relations with foreign identities. On using a National Popular Vote, it may not seem to be a government that regulates all national territories, but rather only territories with higher population density. This is one of the reasons why the Electoral College was put in place, in that all places can be heard, not just places with high population density.

On the other hand, the Popular Vote is not without its benefits, however in a smaller scale. For example, if a local community wants to vote on whether or not they should have a community pool, it is wise to vote based on the needs or wants of each individual person. However, if asked to do it on a wider scale, it would not be effective. Therefore, the Popular Vote is best for small contained elections, while the Electoral College is best for the National level elections.

Was the Constitution pro-slavery? Name four reasons to back up your position.

Answers

Answer:

Yes it was

Explanation:

The Constitution gave the federal government the power to put down domestic rebellions, including slave insurrections.

The framers of the Constitution believed that concessions on slavery were the price for the support of southern delegates for a strong central government.

The Constitution  protected slavery by increasing political representation for slave owners and slave states

They were limiting, stringently though temporarily, congressional power to regulate the international slave trade and by protecting the rights of slave owners to recapture their escaped slaves.

Answers

Answer:
