What did Nathaniel Langford do?

A wagon route was to be built from Saint Paul to the Salmon River mining districts of the Rocky Mountains through Fort Benton on June 16, 1862, when Langford left as a member and officer of the Northern Overland Expedition under the command of Captain James L. Fisk. The expedition arrived at the Gold Fields of Grasshopper Creek in what would later become Bannack, Montana.

There, Langford and his business associates founded a sawmill, freight firms, and other enterprises. Langford was designated Montana Territory's Internal Revenue Collector and National Bank Examiner in 1864, not long after the territory was created on May 28. He served both roles for five years.

Education. Hate is learned, you don’t wake up one day saying oh “I hate *insert race*” it’s just not logical. We have as people all around us saying racist jokes, and thinking that it’s not only appropriate but funny. We should be teaching our children to love one another regardless of race, sexuality, etc. Instead of encouraging these behaviors we need to teach people why it’s not okay.
