It also said…

The most important outcome of this war was___ because…

Answers

The war began in 1845 because;

The Mexican-American War was a conflict between the United States and Mexico, fought from April 1846 to February 1848.

Another reason was;

It stemmed from the annexation of the Republic of Texas by the U.S. in 1845

The final reason was;

and from a dispute over whether Texas ended at the Nueces River (the Mexican claim) or the Rio Grande (the U.S. claim).

Then in 1848, the peace treaty was signed. This treaty added an additional 525,000 square miles to United States territory, including the land that makes up all or parts of present-day Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

The treaty also said;

that Mexico ceded over 525,000 square miles of territory to the United States in exchange for $15 million and the assumption of Mexican debts to American citizens, which reopened the slavery issue.

The most important outcome was de facto independance because  In 1845 the U.S. annexed the Republic of Texas, which had won de facto independence from Mexico in the Texas Revolution

I woke up to the sound of a clock and climbed out of bed I get dressed grab my books and walk downstairs dad is there in the kitchen making some breakfast, I could see Cassidy outside doing some quick hustle with laundry I sat down and ate breakfast I had to rush out the door as soon as I was finished and wait for my siblings to walk to school it wasn't that fare however it was through a big forest meaning we had to walk I wasn't surprised though we used to have to do it back in New Jersey. We moved due to some money issues. I guess Papa just wanted to move so we could have a better life than what we did and it already feels great saying goodbye to my friend Sydney was tough. I wish she was here so I could walk to school but I guess walking with my sister means I'm safe. I see Cassidy and my sister walk out the door waving goodbye to papa. She held my hand and we would walk to school together though I'm perfectly fine walking by myself but sadly dad just thinks it's safer considering we have to walk through a forest though I understand. Papa works at a bank in this town so usually after school all of my siblings would have to walk over there and stand outside being patient waiting for him to leave for safety. When we got here my papa ought a fairly nice house that has a huge farm of land. We arrived at the Schoolhouse and were learning about the "Geography" of the world which to me is pretty boring. I do have to say I am fairly good in class. James my big brother had to help out with teaching today I heard it's pretty fun to do when your older and wiser so that's why I'm trying to do good in class I would love to be a teacher one day and who knows maybe teach little children about my life before coming to Oregon which will certainly be a tale for sure.
