pitch is how high or low a sound is. for example, on a piano, the keys on the right side are a lot higher, meaning that the pitch is high. on the left side the sound produced is a lot lower, so the pitch is low. if you’re talking about those on a music sheet or score, those that are higher up on the score have a high pitch, while those on the lower end of the score have a low pitch. if the question states increasing in pitch, you simply observe the pattern in the musical notes. if it goes upwards it is increasing in pitch (getting higher) but if it’s going down it’s decreasing (getting lower)!
