What are some ways to increase voter turnout in the United States?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

1. Social pressure/peer pressure: even though this sounds slightly bad, giving people pressure into voting can increase turnout.

2. Allow people to schedule voting appointments: some people don't want to go vote because of the long lines they have to stand in to do so. By making appointments this alleviates the disappointment of standing in the long lines for hours on end.

3. Make Election Day a holiday: some workers aren't able to vote because of their jobs. If Election day was made into a holiday more people could turn up to vote.

4. Make voter registration automatic: automatically registering people to vote can increase voter turnout dramatically because people don't have to go through the entire process of registering.

5. Create an official voting booth app: by using this it can make the voting process much easier, leading people to want to get out and vote more.

6. Give voters rewards for voting: the rewards could be the stickers, food, drinks, etc. But psychologically people are more willing to do something if there is a reward in it for them.

Hope this helps!!

Activities: 1. Name the layer of the atmosphere where the weather and the clouds occur
2. Explain the importance of the ozone.

Answers

Explanation:

1. Troposphere

2. Ozone protects the Earth from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays from the Sun. Without the Ozone layer in the atmosphere, life on Earth would be very difficult. Plants cannot live and grow in heavy ultraviolet radiation, nor can the planktons that serve as food for most of the ocean life. With a weakening of the Ozone Layer shield, humans would be more susceptible to skin cancer, cataracts and impaired immune systems

Answer:

1) troposphere

2)

The ozone layer effectively blocks almost all solar radiation of wavelengths less than 290 nanometres from reaching Earth's surface, including certain types of ultraviolet (UV) and other forms of radiation that could injure or kill most living things.

The importance of ozone is defined by the fact that it protects the earth from harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun. The ozone layer is found in the upper regions of the stratosphere where it protects the earth from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. These radiations can cause skin cancer in humans.

National debt is called the set of debts that a given country owns to private external investors, other nations, buyers of domestic bonds, etc., that is, all the debts of that country.

These debts, logically, increase each time the government bids for new bonds or other financing instruments, which are acquired by investors. Therefore, if the government buys these bonds, logically the national debt will decrease.

what fear is most likely represented by the question mark that could justify a state's right to limit an individual's constitutional rights

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you did not attach the text or excerpt for reference. So we do not know what word is represented by the question mark.

However, trying to help you we can comment on the following general terms.

The fear that could justify a state's right to limit an individual's constitutional rights is "subversion" or during war times.

During those above-mentioned scenarios, the government could think to limit constitutional rights in order to protect the security of the nation, including the people.

Something similar has happened during World War I and World II, times in which the government tried to limit free speech to suppress critics and to control ane espionage activities that could cause treason.
