Rhetoric aims to study the capacities of writers or speakers needed to inform, persuade, or motivate particular audiences in specific situations. Allusion- is a figure of speech, in which an object or circumstance from unrelated context is referred to covertly or indirectly. It is left to the audience to make the direct connection. Where the connection is directly and explicitly stated by the author, it is instead usually termed a reference. juxtaposition- is an act or instance of placing two elements close together or side by side. This is often done in order to compare/contrast the two, to show similarities or differences.

Dear Cousin,
You wouldn't believe what my class and I did yesterday, you would have loved it! My school hosted this really cool event! It's called an "International Food Fair", and basically what my class had to do was choose a country and represent it! We chose France, inspired by how they helped the United States during the revolution. I know you love France, I should have gotten pictures. We had an entire area set up, even with food you'd typically find in France! Basically we all went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of supplies, some of the more artistic students helped put things together to make it look neater, you know it would look like a clown woke up on the wrong side of the bed if I was in charge of that! They painted the France flag on a poster board and hung it up above our station, we had jars with mini flags in them with dyed flowers, France colors! It was great, we had a blast! We even learned some French via Oogle Translate, and had fun trying out our best "French Accents". My favorite part of all were the baguettes. Man they were good! You really missed out. I can't wait until we do this again next year! However, I would say we could have done more scripting then we did. I noticed when questions were asked, we'd hesitate. If only we wrote up a bunch of stuff so everyone knew what to say to a certain scenario, it would have been more smooth. The pros outweigh the cons, however, and it was a very fun time!
Until next time, your favorite (and only) Cousin.

Firstly, it will change the dynamic between the characters, as they will now be forced to confront the fact that they have been deceived by their own kind. This revelation is likely to create a sense of betrayal among the Gladers, who had trusted Thomas and Teresa and relied on them to help them solve the mystery of the Maze.Secondly, this revelation will add a new layer of complexity to the story. In The HIke how does the narrator depict the character of Mr.arseno?
Answer:
Mr. Ben was depicted as an adventurous man, who did not listen to warnings.
Explanation:
In "The Hike", by Drew Magary, the main character, Ben was a business man who left his wife Teresa and three children to go on a trip to Philadelphia. There, he decided to go on a hike even after he was told that there was no path or trail for people to go on a hike by the woman who managed the hotel.
His insistence resulted in a troublesome adventure where he encountered so many weird incidents like the dog-faced men who killed people. He met his former school mate who disappeared in the morning and an old woman named Mrs. Blackwell who promised to lead him to Courtshire. In summary, it was a very scary adventure that caused him to get lost in the path.
In “The Hike” written by Drew Magary, the narrator depicts the character of Mr. Arseno as a fun and easy-going guy. He is also described as an adventurous guy, but he never listened to any warnings.
“The Hike” written by Drew Magary
The answer is further explained as given below:
• The main character Ben was an adventurous person, who left behind his life to go on a hike. He was also a little careless, as he did not listen to the warning given to him that there was no path for hiking, in the area which he was headed to.
• After not listening to the warnings, Ben had a lot of weird incidents happen to him and he faced a lot of things in his path, and he also lost his path due to it.
Therefore, the correct answer is that the narrator describes Mr. Arseno as a fun-loving guy who could be a little careless sometimes.

Answer:
Cultural assumptions related to gender roles are still an issue to our generation today. Ideas that undermine women´s capacities and abilities are quite common. At the same time, men are considered less able to carry on activities regarded as "feminine".
Explanation:
The idea that girls are not as good as boys at maths and science is still prevalent and damaging. On the other hand, men showing emotions are usually considered weak, which becomes an obstacle for them to build healthy relationships.

How does Joe Dagget feel during his visit with Louisa?
A.
He is uncomfortable in Louisa's house.
B.
Louisa amuses him and makes him laugh.
C.
He feels awkward about expressing his love for Louisa.
A New England Nun
by Mary E. Wilkins Freeman
In about half an hour Joe Dagget came. She heard his heavy step on the walk and rose and took off her pink and white apron. Under that was still another—white linen with a little cambric edging on the bottom; that was Louisa's company apron. She never wore it without her calico sewing apron over it unless she had a guest. She had barely folded the pink and white one with methodical haste and laid it in a table drawer when the door opened and Joe Dagget entered. He seemed to fill up the whole room. A little yellow canary that had been asleep in his green cage at the south window woke up and fluttered wildly, beating his little yellow wings against the wires. He always did so when Joe Dagget came into the room.
"Good-evening," said Louisa. She extended her hand with a kind of solemn cordiality.
"Good-evening, Louisa," returned the man, in a loud voice.
She placed a chair for him, and they sat facing each other, with the table between them. . . .
Presently, Dagget began fingering the books on the table. There was a square red autograph album and a Young Lady's Gift-Book, which had belonged to Louisa's mother. He took them up one after the other and opened them; then laid them down again, the album on the Gift-Book.
Louisa kept eyeing them with mild uneasiness. Finally she rose and changed the position of the books, putting the album underneath. That was the way they had been arranged in the first place.
Dagget gave an awkward little laugh. "Now what difference did it make which book was on top?" he said.
Louisa looked at him with a deprecating smile. "I always keep them that way," she murmured.
"You do beat everything," said Dagget, trying to laugh again. His large face was flushed.
