⟹ 52 = 4y
⟹ 4y = 52
⟹ y = 52/4
⟹ y = 13
Now putting the value of y = 13 in equation (i) we get
⟹ x = 38-13
⟹ x = 25
Hence,the present age of Farhan is 25 years.
And , the Present age of his cousin is 13 years.
