Describe a time when you made a meaningful contribution to others in which
the greater good was your focus. Discuss the challenges and rewards of
making your contribution. 3-5 paragraphs

Answers

There have been many times where I’ve mare meaningful contribution to the people of my town, but one in particular stands out. I had just moved into NYC and bought an apartment, when I saw a homeless man and his family sitting in the street. I decided that I was gonna help them. However, I was faced with 2 very complicating challenges.

The first challenge was proving food, water, etc... I had not been making enough money to give them all of the things they required. So, I reached out to some friends and had them help me out with getting a job at the local bank. I had finally been able to provide the man, his wife, and kids with food and water.

The second challenge was even harder to deal with. My family had called and told me they were coming over. I had to explain to them there was no space because I was housing some friends. They came over anyway and found out what was really going on. They was very disappointed in me for lying. I apologized, but my parents still didn’t like what I was doing. However, I didn’t care because I knew what i was doing was right. A couple weeks later the husband had gotten a job and was now in shape to house his family. I loaned him some money and sent him and his family out and wished them good luck. My family was extremely happy they were gone. We had dinner and resolved all of our issues.

In conclusion, sometimes helping people and the greater good is gonna come with challenges, however the feeling after helping them will always be worth it. I’ll never forget what it felt like to see the family’s faces when I offered them a place to stay for a while. That was the true reward of it all.

I hope this works it was just off the top of my head. They are some grammar issues but they’re really easy to fix. If it helps I’d really appreciate it if you gave me branliest!

None of them really.

The sentence says that Our democratic government is created by, and exists for the people.

It means that people create a government by some method. What they create is for them.

I guess what you should pick is the last one (4). But the central idea of (4) is that everyone creates (collectively) what a government is like. That's only 1/2 what the given sentence says. The rest of the given  sentence says it is to their benefit. Still you have no other choice.

help me lol this is like the end of year thing

Answers

Answer:c

Explanation:

It illustrates Jack's strength of character is the excerpt contribute to the development of the plot. Hence, option C is correct.

What is the concept of the passage?

In the sample from Act III of The Importance of Being Earnest provided, it is clear that Jack is quite furious about a man who broke into his home and pretended to be his brother while drinking his wine, eating his food, and drinking tea. Although Jack was unhappy about the entire situation, the lie is what he obviously disapproves of.

The Importance of Being Earnest is heavily focused on performance. The two primary characters in Wilde's work, Jack and Algernon, both live double lives, which implies they are always acting or pretending to be someone they are not.

Thus, option C is correct.

Answer: "Am I being watched?"

Leaving a person in a room to test whether or not they can sense "someone is watching me." First, place a doll in the back of the room discretely where they cannot see, if the person looks back, it can prove that even objects can trigger a sense of not being alone, if they do not, that can only prove a person to not have any feelings of anxiety from something being in the same room. Second, having another person sit in the back of the room discretely, if the test-subject looks back it proves the feeling of being watched is not just a theory, if not, it'll only prove that this "idea" is not an actual feeling from a humans perspective. The tundra ecosystem of Alaska is known as a “cold desert.” It receives very little precipitation, about four inches annually. However, it is rich in wetlands due to permafrost, which traps moisture close to the surface. The temperatures vary widely, also producing persistent winds. Although treeless, the Arctic tundra is an abundant ecosystem. Many organisms find their niche here including many migratory bird species and mammals such as caribou, foxes, bears, and small rodents. Which factor of the tundra ecosystem is biotic?

Answer:

The biotic factor in the tundra ecosystem described in the given paragraph is "dead bird". The correct option is B.

What is a biotic factor?

A biotic factor refers to a living component of an ecosystem, including all living organisms such as plants, animals, and microorganisms. The other options given in the question are abiotic factors, which are non-living components of an ecosystem.

Option A, "wind," is an abiotic factor because it is a physical characteristic of the environment and does not involve living organisms.

Option C, "carbon dioxide," is also an abiotic factor. Although it is important for the survival of plants and other autotrophs, it is not considered a living organism.

Option D, "temperature," is an abiotic factor as well, because it is a physical factor that affects the living organisms in an ecosystem.

Option B, "dead bird," is a biotic factor because it refers to a once-living organism that has died and becomes a part of the ecosystem. Dead birds, along with other dead plants and animals, play an important role in the nutrient-cycling process in an ecosystem. They provide food for decomposers like bacteria and fungi, which break down the organic matter and release the nutrients back into the soil, making them available for other living organisms to use.

Therefore, The correct answer is option B.
