Describe ONE of the following and briefly explain why you chose to focus on this part of the reading (5-7 Sentences):

1. Sectionalism
2. Stable Economy and Foreign Competition
3. The Supreme Court Expanding Federal Power

Answers

Answer 1
Sectionalism

Sectionalism means when one is loyal to their own religion or part of country they live in and not the whole country.
Such thing occurs in multiple countries such as the United Kingdom (the constitution of Scotland) and so on.
In Scotland there are many separatist/sectionalist political parties and organizations which have existed since the early 1920’s. One of which was first made was the Scots National League. Nowadays the Scottish sectionalism is mainly fully advocated and associated by the SNP (Scottish National Party). The SNP can be described as both separatist and sectionalism.
I chose sectionalism because the topic of people being obsessed with part of a country or religion interested me since I did not know until now that sectionalism was a thing.
Answer 2
the answer is 1 i’m sorry if this is incorrect

Answer for it but there is more

Roger Sherman The United States Constitution's authors affirmed in Article VI that "This Constitution. shall be the highest Law of the Land." According to constitutional expert Laurence Tribe,

Who was Roger Sherman?

Roger Sherman was an American statesman, lawyer, and Founding Father of the United States. He is the only person to sign four of the great state papers of the United States related to the founding: the Continental Association, Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and U.S. Constitution. He also signed the 1774 Petition to the King.

Sherman served as a delegate to the 1787 Philadelphia Convention, which produced the United States Constitution. After Benjamin Franklin, he was the second oldest delegate present at the convention. Sherman favoured granting the federal government power to raise revenue and regulate commerce, but initially opposed efforts to supplant the Articles of Confederation with a new constitution.

After supporting the establishment of a new constitution, Sherman became a key delegate and main opponent of James Madison's Virginia Plan by introducing the Connecticut Compromise.

Answer:

2 is temperature

3 is humid

6 is climate I am not sure about the rest

Explanation:

Answer to 1: There are a variety of reasons trees don't grow in this region. First, the permafrost prevents them from taking root, then those that do manage it have shallow root systems that are not an ideal anchor to withstand the high winds. Finally, low precipitation means there is not enough water to support trees.

Answer to 2: The primary factor which determines a biome is the climate. Temperature and precipitation essentially determines what kind of growing season or soil quality the terrain may have, which therefore affects the growth of plants living there.
