media control how and what we think

Answers

Answer 1
The media does not control our behavior but it can control what you know and that can influence your behavior and how you think. It can do this if you get lazy and get all your news, info, and impressions of the world from a few similar sources. But then, if you do that, it's not the media controlling you. It's you surrendering control of your own thought processes. With a fair amount of judgment, intelligence, and curiosity, anyone can become totally immune to any media bias or "control." All you have to do is question, think, verify stories you consider suspicious, and read read read widely. Many magazines, many books, many sources other than TV. And as to those commercials that probably control your behavior more than any news, turn 'em off. Be a citizen, not a consumer.

Answer 2
To a certain extent, yes, the media is controlling some of our decisions. We use media for hours on end and within that media we are being told what to think is important, instead of having an objective point of view and deciding ourselves what we feel is important.

Hello. You did not present the examples, which makes it impossible for pairs to be formed. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way, telling you the meaning of each one.

An example is something that aims to explain a situation, making it clearer and pointing out how it can be applied in a given situation. Ex: An example of an adjective and the word "cheerful" in the phrase "Moses is cheerful" because the word "cheerful" shows a characteristic of Moses.

An analogy is the transfer of meaning between two elements that have some relation or similarity. Ex: Love is like a ball. When we have it, we kick it.

An anecdote is a very small story, with humorous humor and with the aim of presenting a story quickly and in a comical way.

Explain what it means to find and use appropriate sources for research

Answers

When you’re looking for appropriate research sources you have to look for primary sources like letters, emails, texts, and interviews with the people who have seen it first hand. You’re can also look for legitimate reliable nonfiction books and articles containing the information of the event that you’re researching. Once you have all that information you need to properly quote text you take as use from the source and provide textual evidence. A proper bibliography never hurts either. Hope this helps.
appropriate sources for research would include sources which are verified to be true, and even better sources that end with “.gov” because these will be trustworthy information.

3. This excerpt from The Proposal is an example of what kind of dramatic device?

Answers

Hello. You forgot to present the excerpt to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.

A dramatic artifice is a technique used in dramas to give information to the public that would have gone unnoticed if they were not highlighted in some way. There are several types of dramatic devices and it is necessary that a reading of the text is made in order to be able to identify them. However, I will introduce you to a few, which may be present in your text.

Soliloquio: It is a speech made by a character who finds himself alone and reveals his deepest and most hidden thoughts, as if he were in conversation with himself.

Nemesis: Occurs when a character causes harm to another character, but suffers the conceptions of that evil, which turns against him.

Dramatic Irony: Occurs when the audience knows information that the characters do not know.

Paradox: It presents two contrary information that seem absurd, but which complete and are capable of transmitting a profound meaning.

Imagery: It occurs when the author uses words that stimulate the reader's senses, allowing the audience to feel the sensations that are being presented in the text.

Foreshadow: It occurs when the text advances information about events that will only occur later, in the narrative.

Aside: It occurs when the person is talking directly with the audience, but is involved in their own thoughts and feelings.

Madela believed that education is what makes someone powerful and we can confirm that this is true. Education allows people to have access to quality and correct information, allows people to recognize when they are exploited and devalued, and allows them to fight any oppressive forces that try to oppress them. In addition, education allows people to become professional and reach good professional levels that allow them to have a high quality of life. All of these factors are enough to make a person not only powerful, but unbeatable.
