You can not have a _________ fossil without a ___________ fossil.

pls answer it

Answers

Answer: Let's think about all of them and why some can contain fossils, but the other can't. But first of all, what is a fossil?

Fossils are organic products which are preserved in the Earth's crust. This means that the fossil is usually formed on or under (but not too deep!) the Earth's surface or under the water.

In other words in the biosphere (think about the biosphere limits). Then this organic material is covered by debris and etc. and becomes the fossil material.

Now, the igneous rocks, these rocks are usually formed from extremely hot magma deep inside the crust or with severe (not always) lava explosions. Obviously, magma and lava can't contain any life forms because they come from the deepest and hottest places on the Earth where life is impossible. That's why fossils can't be found in the igneous rocks.

The metamorphic rocks also can't contain any fossil as you'll see below. How does the metamorphic rock form? Simply the igneous rocks (which CAN NOT originally contain any FOSSILS) or the sedimentary rocks (which CAN originally contain some FOSSILS) undergo extremely high pressures or/and temperatures.

But in these conditions, the structure of the rocks, even if they originally contained some organic material, will be altered.

Finally, the sedimentary rocks are the one type which can contain fossils because these rocks are formed on the Earth surface, under the water, at very low temperatures and pressures. In other words, the biosphere can only interact with the sediments.

Explanation:

Explanation: you need like living thinsg to die and unharmed for liek 10,000 years then people when discovering it, it’s now a fossil. You need bones and other things to count as a fossil, I don’t know how to answer this, sorry. But I hope this helps you.

Refers to the killing on all of the animals and livestock of slaveholders by supporters of a non-slave Kansas

Refers to the killing of all enslaved people in the Kansas territory by white slaveholders

Refers to open fighting between pro-slave and free-state supporters including burning of towns and massacres of people not fighting

Refers to the "open sore" caused by the vicious verbal debate over whether to be a free state or a slave state

Answers

Answer:

Refers to open fighting between pro-slave and free-state supporters including burning of towns and massacres of people not fighting

Explanation:

Bleeding Kansas occurred during the legalization of Kansas from being a territory to becoming a state. This is extremely important, as Kansas was trying to enter the union as a stand-alone state, in which the two opposing sides could not agree whether or not it should become a free or slave state. Large amounts of people entered Kansas to fight during the event known as "Bleeding Kansas", in which both parties murdered each other. In the end, Kansas was admitted as a free state to the Union.

Eli Whitney’s invention of the cotton gin transformed the nature of U.S. slavery in the early 1800s. Enslavement grew larger and more profitable than ever before in the nation’s history. While Southern states took steps to protect the practice, a growing antislavery movement was brewing in the North. Both free and enslaved African Americans took great risk in supporting abolition or aiding escaped slaves. They inspire modern movements to protect equal rights and protection for all.

Now that you are familiar with the cotton gin, the Underground Railroad, and key abolitionists, you will reflect on your learning by answering questions.

You will answer each question with a paragraph of complete sentences of your own words. Be sure to mention specific events, people, and terms from the lesson to support your answer.

How did the invention of the cotton gin affect slavery in the United States?
What was the Underground Railroad? Your response needs to include and explain the terms conductor, lines, station, and freight.
How did men like William Lloyd Garrison, Reverend Lovejoy, and Fredrick Douglass participate in the abolitionist movement?

Answers

Answer: 1) While it was true that the cotton gin reduced the labor of removing seeds, it did not reduce the need for slaves to grow and pick the cotton. Cotton growing became so profitable for the planters that it greatly increased their demand for both land and slave labor. 2) The Underground Railroad was a network of secret routes and safe houses established in the United States during the early to mid-19th century, and used by enslaved African-Americans to primarily escape into free states and Canada.  3) All of these men involved themselves in the abolitionist movement by speaking out. They all were against slavery and one in particular, Frederic Douglas, wrote many books after being freed from slavery. He was also invited to go on tour and make speeches about antislavery.

Answer: Due to the invention of the cotton gin, enslavement grew larger and more profitable than ever before in the nation’s history. Slavery was a practice the the south wanted to protect, while the North wanted to abolish it, and both sides took risks to get what they wanted. This disagreement eventually led to the civil war.

The underground rail road was a safe route that escaped slaves would take  in order to get to the North. Along the underground railroad, there were safehouses -- homes that would let the escapees stay stay the night, and supply them with food, shoes, or medical attention if possible. The people who lived in these safe houses were known as conductors, and if anyone was found harboring a slave, the penalty was usually death. One of the most famous conductors of the underground railroad was Harriet Tubman.

I'm not sure about the last one, but I know that at least two of them wrote about their experience in slavery, which helped to expose the cruelty of the practice to the Americans who had not been exposed to it, which helped to spark the strong desire in the North to end slavery.

Please help ..Which court completes the diagram All cells require a nitrogen source to grow. The preferred nitrogen source for E. coli is an ammonium salt (e.g. NH4Cl ). The NH 4 is assimilated into cellular metabolism by glutamine synthetase (GS), which catalyzes the synthesis of glutamine from glutamate, NH 4, and ATP. Glutamine then serves as a precursor to many compounds such as histidine, tryptophan, and nucleotides. These compounds control the activity of GS by feedback inhibition. Therefore, GS responds to changes in the nitrogen balance within cells. Identify the correct feedback inhibition mechanism that controls GS and its advantage for E. coli grown in a medium with a high histidine concentration. Assume that glucose and NH, are not limiting. A. GS is controlled by concerted feedback inhibition. Histidine alone does not alleci GS. Therefore. E. coli growth will be unaffected. B. GS is controlled by sequential feedback inhibition. Complete inhibition of GS by histidine will impair NH+ assimilation and impair E. coli growth. C. GS is controlled by cumulative feedback inhibition. Therefore, histidine will inhibit GS partially. The remaining GS activity can support NH+, assimilation and E. coli growth. D. GS is controlled by enzyme multiplicity. Only histidine-responsive GS will be shut down.
