Were the Founding Fathers justified in rebelling against the British government and declaring independence? In a well-developed essay that includes an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, explain whether or not the Founding Fathers were justified in declaring independence. Be sure to address counterclaims in your essay and include reasons and evidence to support your argument.

Answers

Answer:

The Founding Fathers thought they were being taxed unfairly, had no representation in government, and Britain was not defending their natural rights, the founding fathers were justified in rebelling against the British government and declaring independence.

The colonists believed they were being unfairly taxed since the British imposed a slew of levies on them without their agreement, and they want the freedom to purchase goods from wherever they pleased. They were enraged because Britain was taking it away from them. They began to complain, but Britain continued to unfairly tax them. Some argue that because the colonists were partially responsible for the war, they should help pay for it. While this is true, they did not ask the colonies about it, and they continued to tax them unfairly even after the colonists protested taxation without representation. The colonists believed they were being taxed unfairly and without representation because of this.

In addition, the colonists had no representation in the government. Even though the colonies did not have a representative in Britain, Britain imposed taxes on them, which the colonists did not enjoy. They believed it was unjust that they were denied a voice in government. Some will argue that Britain employed the delegates for the greater interest of everybody, but this is plainly not true from the perspective of the colonies, who were taxed without even having a say in the matter, which is why the colonies were fully justified in objecting.

Furthermore, the colonies believed that Britain was not protecting their natural rights because they believed they should have a say in the British government, freedom, and the right to protest an unjust government that was not protecting their natural rights, but none of these things were provided to them. The opposing viewpoint might argue that the colonies owed Britain money and that these events prevented them from doing so, but this is not the case. The colonists believed that they should always be able to exercise their natural rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which justified their resistance to the British.

The fact that they were being taxed unfairly, that they had no representation in the British government, and that Britain was not defending their natural rights were all reasons why the founding fathers were fully justified in rebelling against Britain. All of this supports the notion that the founding fathers were right in proclaiming independence from the British government.

Explanation:

Hope this helps!

The pioneers were justified in revolting against the British, because of the vituperative king and British congress, the levies without representation, the laws without the concurrence of pioneers (similar to the Quartering Act).

Who were Founding Fathers?

They were the man who had an important part in creating the government of the U.S. They were the leaders of the Revolution that brought independence to Great Britain's American colonies.

The taxes were also mainly used to pay for the French-Indian War, which seems like it justifies the British taxing, except for the fact that it was taxes without representation, which can be labeled as cruel. This supports the argument, as the American colonists didn’t like having to pay for the war and let Britain take money away from them for profit.

Most of the goods that were brought to the colonists for trade were heavily regulated by the British government and priced much higher than usual. In exchange for these overpriced goods, the colonies bartered a wealth of products such as whale oil, timber, and tobacco.

The fact that the colonists had to take action to achieve what they felt were only their basic rights angered even many Britishers.

can someone give me a brief explanation about ww1?
like what countries were involved, what caused it, why they were fighting, etc

same for ww2
i’m curious

Answers

Answer:

Well WW1 was caused for many reasons, but one that stood out was the assasination of a man from Austria. There were LOTS of countries involved: Russia, Italy, Japan, mainly Germany tho. WW2 was mainly because of Germany too. There was an economic depression and Japan was involved. Adolf Hitler was a huge figure during that war.

Explanation:

Answer:

Everyone knew it was coming

Explanation:

WW1 was caused by the assassination of the Austrian-Hungarian Archduke Franz Fernand in Serbia, which had previously declared independence from the Austrian-Hungarian empire. This led to an escalation and the Austrian Hungarian Empire declared war on Serbia, this led to the United Kingdom and France also declaring war, but on the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. Germany, an ally of the AH Empire, declared war on the Serbian and the allies. This led to the creation of the Allies (UK, France, and Russia) and the Central Powers (Germany and AH Empire, later the Ottoman Empire would join). The main goal was to conquer more territory and destroy the allies, as in every war. However, this war was known as "The Great War" back then. I should mention that the US did not join until it was known that Germany sent the Zimmerman Telegram in 1917. Fast forward the AH Empire surrendered, and finally, Germany surrendered as well. This led to the Treaty of Versailles,  which punished Germany a lot. It had to give land back to France, pay a huge amount of money it didn't have, reduce the military to only 100,000 men, no air force, and Poland was created out of its borders. Many people say that this is the reason why WW2 began in the first place, because it caused the rise of Hitler. aaaaaaaannddd here we go to WW2

WW2 was caused because the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany. Hitler made an alliance with Stalin (Leader of the Soviet Union) that they would both invade Poland so Hitler would not end up fighting a war on two sides. The United Kingdom and France declared war on Germany. Hitler's main goal was Lebensraum meaning that he needed to conquer the world so he could increase the Aryan race. Hitler invaded France in 1940, and just like that, France fell to the Germans. Then, Hitler invaded the Soviet Union in 1941. The Soviets were pushed back, and the Germans were at the gates of Moscow. However, winter came, and the germans had to wait until the spring. The Soviets pushed the germans out of Moscow. Fast forward the US declared war on Japan after the attacks of Pearl Harbor, and officially enter WW2 in 1941. In 1944, the Americans led an invasion of France to liberate them. Fast forward to 1945, Hitler committed suicid in his bunker. WW2 ended in Europe on May 8, 1945 as the Soviets captured Berlin. The Americans dropped 2 bombs on Japan, one in Hiroshima, and one in Nagasaki. It officially ended on September 1, 1945 as the Japanese surrendered. This led to the rise of 2 global superpowers, the United States, and the Soviet Union, which will start the Cold War, which lasted 1947-1991. The Soviet Union would collapse in 1991, but thats a story for another time :)

Allies: USA, UK, France, Soviet Union, among others

Axis Powers: Nazi Germany, Italy, Japan, among others

The second paragraph should answer the first question, and the third paragraph should answer the second question. Answers

The Treaty of Versailles, concluded on June 28, 1919, was a peace treaty signed by European countries after the outbreak of World War I in 1918. In this Treaty, Germany accepted blame for the World War, pledging to meet a number of political, fiscal, and military obligations.

The Treaty of Versailles cannot be considered a fair peace treaty because nations put much of the war's economic harm on Germany. And if another government was to blame for the conflict, it would be impossible for one country to shoulder all costs.

As a result, it is concluded that the Treaty of Versailles was not a suitable treaty to seal peace since the Powers were more concerned with reimbursing the material costs of war than with keeping peace. This is reinforced by the fact that another world war occurred, with disastrous results.

It is being acted on by an invisible force called gravity. Gravity is the force in the universe that attracts all objects to each other.Gravity has existed since the beginning of the universe. It holds everything in the universe in place. We know it is always there. It is hard to understand how it works. First, you need to understand that there is gravitational attraction between all objects. There is gravitational attraction between you and Earth, between Earth and the Moon, and between Earth and the Sun. You cant feel the gravitational attraction between you and Earth. However, it is what keeps your feet planted firmly on the ground. Imagine spinning around and around on a merry-go-round. As long as you hold on, you will stay on the merry-go-round. Dont let go! You will fly off and land on the ground. This analogy helps us visualize the gravitational attraction between Earth and you. Earth is spinning on its axis. Gravity keeps you on Earth rather than flying out into space. Now think about the gravitational attraction between Earth and the Moon. The same force that keeps you on Earth pulls the Moon and Earth together. This attraction keeps the Moon in orbit around Earth. Also think about the affect of the Moons gravitational force on Earths oceans. The gravitational pull of the Moon makes the ocean tides rise and fall. There is attraction between you and Earth and between the Moon and Earth. The Sun also has a gravitational pull on Earth. This attraction makes the Earth orbit the Sun. The Suns attraction is very strong. All objects in the solar system orbit around this medium-sized star. What would happen if the Suns gravitational attraction suddenly disappeared? All the planets, including Earth, would fly off into space just like you would if you let go of the merry-go-round.There is gravitational attraction between all objects. Why is the effect stronger in some cases? For example, Earths gravity has a more powerful effect on you than the Suns gravity. How could this be possible? After all, the Suns gravitational attraction holds all of the objects in the solar system. The force of gravity between two objects actually depends on two things. It depends on the mass of the two objects. It also depends on the distances between them. The greater the mass of the objects, the greater the gravitational force between them. In other words, the bigger an object is, the more gravity it has. Distance also has a large effect. The closer objects are to each other, the stronger their gravitational force of attraction. As they get farther apart, the force between them gets weaker. The Sun is much more massive than Earth, but the distance between you and Earth is less. The gravitational pull of the Sun has little effect on you because the distance is so large.Gravity is the invisible force that attracts all objects, no matter their size or mass. The Sun has the strongest gravitational force of any object in the solar system. It attracts all astronomical objects into orbit around itself. Without this force, everything would fly off into the universe. Which of the following summaries expresses the main points of the passage best?Group of answer choicesI believe gravity is the most important aspect of our universe. Without it we would all be floating off into the universe. There wouldnt be any orbits; instead, all planetary bodies would simply float around, running into each other when they crossed paths and just wandering forever. There is a gravitational force between all objects in the universe. Gravitational force is what keeps all components of our solar system in orbit around the Sun, as well as moons in orbit around planets. The force of gravity affects Earth's tides and holds us on Earth's surface. The force of gravity between objects depends on their masses and the distance between them.Gravity is hard to understand and scientists have little to no understanding of how it works. We know that gravity is out there, but the specifics are often lost on us. Plants, animals, and humans are all able to grow tall due to the pull on Earth from the Sun. Without the Sun we would all just stretch out along Earth's surface.None of the above NameOn the class field trip, there were4 teachers and 35 students.
