You might think that after 200 years, the scientists who find, name, and describe
Earth's species would be close to finished. But taxonomists, as organized as they may
be, have no idea how many species Earth has. Nor can they even provide an
educated guess. Although reporting over 16,000 new species every year,
taxonomists still cannot predict how many more are undiscovered.
In total, taxonomists have categorized and listed 1.2 million species on Earth. At this
point, you would think scientists should be able to use the information they have
gathered to make good predictions about how many species an ecosystem can
support. This would help them make better predictions about how many species are
left to identify. So far, however, the guesses seem to vary so greatly that it seems
there is no good theory for making a prediction.
One of the main problems is that most of the places that seem to have a lot of
diverse species are in places that are hard to get to. One such place is the ocean,
where scientists believe some 80 percent of Earth's creatures are hiding at depths
too deep for us to study. In addition, many of the planet's most diverse areas are in
remote places with few taxonomists.
Despite all the unknowns, scientists have agreed that there are between five and 15
million species left to discover on Earth. This is a huge range, but whether it's five or
15, taxonomists clearly still have a lot of work to do. And who knows, there may yet
be a dragon or a Loch Ness monster left to discover.

The trees and bushes around them stood inky and sepulchral, spilling long shadows across them. They stared, wondering at his reappearance,
his passion, his wild animal howling. Their mother rose from her basket chair and came toward him, worried, annoyed, saying, "Stop it, stop it,

Write a 5+ sentence paragraph that explains how you keep it positive.
Answer:
Keeping a positive and calm mindset is something I am fairly skilled at. Whenever something is bothering me I take a figurative step back and try look at the situation logically. I ask myself does this really matter? Will I remember this 1 year from now or even 5 years from now? Will this really affect my life? If the answer is no to a majority of these questions then I know that it doesn't matter and I really shouldn't care about it. Of course this doesn't always work so there's some other things that I try to do. If answering the questions doesn't help me then I try to push down all the emotions that will escalate the situation and put on the face that is have apathetic and half hippie positive. I tell myself that I don't care and that someday the universe will pay them back 3 times over because what you put out will come back to you 3 times.

Sugar and salt dissolve easily in water.
No, it is not an explanation. For example, sugar is much more soluble in water than salt. But even sugar has an upper limit on how much can dissolve.
The reason for this is that the sugar molecules are bigger than the ions of dissolved salt. This allows for more water molecules to surround a single particle, pulling it into the solution faster.
No, dissolved differently. Sugar can dissolve easier than salt because when you add 8 spoons of salt into the water the salt already starts to stay in the bottom of the cup. And, when you add 30 spoons into the water the sugar just starts to stay in the bottom of the cup. It's almost the same.

Cody liked the freedom that came with his first summer job. He worked at Mitchell's Farm, where people could come and pick their own corn, berries, and tomatoes out in the fields. Then they'd bring their produce to the checkout stand, where Cody would weigh it and charge the appropriate price. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell were usually busy somewhere else, so Cody was trusted to manage the stand by himself.
For the most part, Cody enforced the Mitchells' rules. When someone asked for a discount or a sample, Cody said no. But he did sometimes bend the rules for friends, much to their delight.
"Go ahead, taste a few berries before I weigh 'em," he'd say when it was someone he knew. It was against the rules to eat something before you bought it, but everyone wanted to.
One day, a man came to the stand with a bushel of corn he had picked. Cody weighed the ears of corn and told the man how much it cost. The man looked confused.
"But I was here yesterday, and you told someone that for every five ears you buy, you get one free," he said.
Cody remembered. He had indeed offered that deal to the Thomases, who happened to be his neighbors. Now he regretted it. He saw Mrs. Mitchell baling hay close by. How was Cody going to explain that he had given a deal to those he knew while he made everyone else pay full price?
The man saw that Cody was looking at Mrs. Mitchell. "Is that the owner? May I speak to her?" he asked.
Cody thought about offering the man the same discount, but there were people in line behind him, and they were carrying corn, too. Cory hung his head and walked over to see Mrs. Mitchell.

at the end, he realized what he had done wrong by not being FAIRtherefore, the theme should be related to thatthe other options do not make sense as they don't relate to the storyRules should be fairly applied is the theme of the story.
What is a theme?A theme is a significant notion that permeates a story. Something a little deeper is at play here rather than the narrative or the summary. A text's action is connected to a central concept concerning our reality via a theme.
"Cody worked at Mitchell's Farm, where people could pick their own produce and weigh it before buying. It was against the rules to eat something before you bought it, but everyone wanted to. Cody sometimes broke the rules for friends, much to their delight."
By failing to be FAIR, he finally understood what he wronged. Thus, the theme should indeed be tied to the fact that the other choices are absurd because they have nothing to do with the narrative.
