What evidence would offer proof for the different theories about the origins of the Indo-Aryans?

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

Historians have taken different views on the origins of the Indo-Aryans. In the past, many historians accepted the Aryan invasion theory, but many historians today reject this idea. This theory held that the Indo- Aryans were nomadic warriors who crossed the mountains into India. They used horse-drawn chariots and iron weapons to defeat the local people.

Others have argued that the Aryans were India’s original inhabitants.

They say that if the Indo-Aryans came from a region outside of India,

the Vedas would refer to it. The Vedas, however, do not make any

mention of such a place.

More recently, scholars suggest a third theory, which suggests Indo-

Aryans were originally from what is now Afghanistan and Central Asia.

Over many centuries, they migrated into India with their livestock,

mixed with local people, and adopted local beliefs. Local people

adopted the Indo-Aryan language. Over time, people across a large

part of the Indian subcontinent came to see themselves as Indo-Aryans.

So the evidence for the first theory is:  This theory held that the Indo- Aryans were nomadic warriors who crossed the mountains into India. They used horse-drawn chariots and iron weapons to defeat the local people.

second theory: They say that if the Indo-Aryans came from a region outside of India, the Vedas would refer to it. The Vedas, however, do not make any

mention of such a place.

Third theory: Over many centuries, they migrated into India with their livestock, mixed with local people, and adopted local beliefs. Local people

adopted the Indo-Aryan language. Over time, people across a large

part of the Indian subcontinent came to see themselves as Indo-Aryans.

if you don't understand just reread the passage I put in. Hope this helps :)

Different Theories for the Origins of Indo-Aryans:

The first theory of Migration: This largely related to the migration theory that Indo-Aryans migrated from West to East. Two new genetic studies upheld Indo-Aryan migration in their research, and confirms Aryans migrated from Europe to Indian Subcontinent.

Another theory is of Linguistic interaction: The Composers of the Rig Veda described themselves as Arya, which can be understood as cultural or ethnic term. The term Indo-Aryan and Indo-European are linguistic term referring to families of language and their speakers. They opined the view that the Indo-aryans were the speakers of a sub-group of the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European Family of Languages.

Third theory is of Indigenous theory: The scholars opined that Indo-aryans are indigenous to the subcontinent of India. This theory rejects Aryan Invasion theory and as well as Migration theory.

Suppose you are the Tourism Minister of Bangladesh- Give a specific plan for becoming a major tourism specialist in 2030?

Answers

Answer and Explanation:

To become a tourism specialist you need to start a long journey of courses. The first course should be a higher level course related to tourism, travel and management. In addition to higher education, it is necessary to start a series of internships that promote professional experience and allow the establishment of contacts and the opportunity to work with big names in tourism and absorb all the knowledge that they can promote and that will be of great help for the future .

Higher education is not the only course that must be taken, it is necessary to take several complementary courses, which allow the professional to become as comprehensive as possible and have mastery of several different points within the fields that make up tourism. The search for complementary courses should follow the professional's entire life and it is these courses that will make the individual a specialist in tourism.

A financial institution that makes loans using a borrower's car as collateral is
called a:
A. payday lender.
B. retail bank.
C. title pawn lender.
D. credit union.

Answers

i think the answer would be C. y

A financial institution that makes loans using a borrower's car as collateral is called a title pawn lender. Therefore, option C is correct.

What is title pawn lender?

A title pawn lender is a type of financial institution that provides short-term loans to individuals who offer their vehicle titles as collateral. The loans are typically small, usually less than $1,000, and are intended to be repaid within a few weeks or months.

To obtain a loan from a title pawn lender, the borrower must surrender their vehicle title to the lender. If the borrower fails to repay the loan, the lender may repossess the vehicle and sell it to recoup their losses.

Title pawn loans are often used by individuals who have poor credit or who are in urgent need of cash. However, these loans often come with high interest rates and fees, making them a risky and expensive option.

Title pawn lending is regulated at the state level and is illegal in some states. In states where it is legal, title pawn lenders are required to comply with certain regulations, including disclosing interest rates and fees and limiting the amount of interest that can be charged.

Prior to American involvement in World War II relationships between the Soviet Union and the United States had been wary and unfriendly. For a period of 16 years following the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, the U.S. refused even to extend diplomatic recognition to Russia. Even after recognition neither country trusted the other. When the United States was thrust into the war after Pearl Harbor it found itself allied with the Soviet Union against a common enemy -Germany. The relationship which developed was that of a strained alliance. It was at best a marriage of convenience, not a love match.

Yet the United States and the Soviet Union did cooperate diplomatically and militarily during the war out of necessity. In conjunction with England they hammered out a number of agreements at war-time conferences. Because German troops were besieging Russian cities at time of American entry in the war, the Soviet Union's major diplomatic objective was to get an Allied promise to launch an immediate cross-channel invasion to open up a massive second front in western Europe. This would force some German divisions to leave the Russian front. President Roosevelt pledged that we would do so by Fall, 1942. When the invasion did not take place until June, 1944 Russian mistrust and suspicion of the United States intensified.

At the beginning of U.S. involvement in the war the "Big Three" (the U.S., England, and the Soviet Union) agreed to concentrate on the military defeat of Germany, and worry about Japan later. This focus on Germany's defeat was clearly reflected at the Casablanca conference in North Africa when the Big Three agreed to fight until Germany surrendered unconditionally. Since Germany posed the greatest military threat to both England and the Soviet Union (which was not even at war with Japan), the decision was understandable. But critics have argued that demanding unconditional surrender prolonged the war because Germany had nothing to gain by surrendering.

Another wartime conference of the Big Three, at Yalta in the Crimea (part of Russia), had important post-war implications as well as wartime goals. At Yalta, under urging by the United States, the Soviet Union agreed to enter a post-war association of nations (the U.N.), and to go to war against Japan within three months of the defeat of Germany. In return the Soviet Union was to receive part of Sakhalin Island near Japan, and was allowed to maintain troops in Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe, provided that Russia would permit free elections in all those countries immediately after the war was over. The Soviet Union's violation of the pledge of free elections in Eastern Europe following the war was a harbinger of the "Cold War."

Indeed, when the war ended the fundamental disagreement between the U.S. and the Soviet Union involved the question of who would control Europe. Russia, in order both to expand Communism and establish a safe "buffer zone" of Soviet satellite nations in Eastern Europe, consolidated its control over those countries. This led to what Great Britain's Prime Minister during World II, Winston Churchill, called the descent of an "iron curtain" over all of Eastern Europe. This issue was compounded by Russia's fear of an American monopoly of nuclear weapons. When the U.S., through the Baruch Plan, offered to turn its atomic technology over to a U.N. Atomic Energy Commission, provided no other country tried to develop an atom bomb, Russia refused.

As the Soviet Union consolidated its control over Eastern Europe and put pressure on other countries, the Truman adminstration developed what has become known as the policy of containment. This policy, developed by 1947 by George Kennan and other State Department leaders and experts, was intended to halt the outward flow of Soviet power. The U.S. policy toward the Soviet Union, according to Kennan, should be one of long-range, patient, but firm and vigilant containment of Soviet expansionist tendencies. Containment was to check the spread of communism, but not to provoke war or try to "roll back" the iron curtain. "Long-range" and "patient" were the operative words.

Why did the cattle trail became less important in the late 1800's?

Answers

Explanation:

Cattle have been raised in Texas from the time the Spanish attempted to establish missions and domesticate the Indians, beginning in the mid-18th century.

It was primarily a small-scale industry during the Republic and early statehood. Most cattle were slaughtered for their hides and tallow, since the meat could not be preserved for long with the methods then used.

Many of the early cattle were longhorns, descendants of Spanish ranch and mission herds, with horn spreads of four to eight feet. Some had become crossed with Mexican cattle, shorter-horned and dun-colored. But there also were cattle of British origin, brought west by Anglo-American colonists from the East Coast by way of Northeast Texas.

judicial review

Explanation:

The judicial review was made to give the judicial branch the power to control the legislative branch.

The legislative branch has the power to create laws. To prevent this laws from violating the rights of the citizens, the Supreme court can conduct a 'Judicial Review'. The laws will be examined and crosschecked with the existing United States constitution,.

When this happen, the legislative branch has to fix the part of the law that create the violation before they're able to re-submitted again for another review.

Compare and contrast Caravanserai with a Modern Rest Stop.

Answers

Answer:

The journeys of merchants and their caravans along the Silk Road through the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa would have been much more difficult if not for the caravanserais (also spelled caravansary) that dotted those ancient routes. Variously described as “guest houses,” “roadside inns,” and “hostels,” caravanserais were buildings designed to provide overnight housing to travelers. Merchants and their caravans were the most frequent visitors. In furnishing, safe respite for guests from near and far, caravanserais also became centers for the exchange of goods and culture.

As traffic along the Silk Road increased, so did the construction of caravanserais. They were needed as safe havens—not just from extreme climates and weather, but also from bandits who targeted caravans loaded with silks, spices, and other expensive goods. In fact, caravanserais were built at regular intervals so that merchants would not have to spend the night exposed to the dangers of the road. They appeared roughly 32-40 kilometers (20–25 miles) apart—about a day’s journey—on the busiest Silk Road routes.

The design of these buildings also reflected their protective purpose. Often built just outside the nearest town or village, they were encircled by immense walls resembling those of a fort. Caravans entered through a high, massive gate that could be secured from within at night with heavy chains. A porter stood guard just past the gate, charged with safeguarding the persons, goods, and animals inside.

The interior of a caravanserai looked more like an inn than a fortress, however. A large ground-floor courtyard ringed with storerooms and stables for camels, donkeys, and horses would often have a corner for cook fires as well. Small, unfurnished rooms for lodgers were found on the second floor. Some larger caravanserais also featured a bathhouse and prayer room.

Most of the old caravanserais still in existence today are crumbling stone ruins, of interest only to historians and tour groups. In contrast, medieval caravanserais were lively seedbeds for globalization, resembling the modern city in the variety of people, languages, goods, and customs found within their walls. Travelers from East and West—speaking many different languages—traded stories, news, merchandise, and ideas while they mingled at these trade hubs. They sampled local cuisine and observed foreign etiquette. They learned more about Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism from missionaries and scholars passing through. When they traveled on, they took much that was new and different along with them. The economic and cultural exchanges caravanserais made possible had far-reaching effects still seen today in the variety of languages, faiths, and cultures co-existing in this region of the world.
