Why wasn't the water pasteurized? I chose Claim 1: If you follow the instructions, the POW kits will always heat the water above the correct temperature for pasteurization (65°C), but some people didn't follow the instructions Can someone help me support it?
Answer:
Claim 1- The evidence that supports my claim because Evidence Card b says “One man got sick, but his two children did not. He used water from Whip River. He used the cube to heat the first pitcher of water, which he gave to his kids, and then reused the cube without reheating for the second pitcher, which he drank himself.” My first piece of evidence is that if you don't follow thee directions then something bad would happen

Answer:
300 centavos
Explanation:
Potencia (P) = 2500 W
Tiempo (t) = 8 horas
Costo de operación =?
A continuación, convertiremos 2500 W a KW.
Tiempo (t) = 8 horas
Energía (E) =?
E = Pt
E = 2,5 × 8
E = 20 KWh
1 KWh = 15 centavos
Por lo tanto,
20 KWh = 20 KWh × 15 centavos / 1 KWh
20 KWh = 300 centavos
Please can someone explain the differences in variables (e.g. control variable, Independent variable and Dependent variable). I know the definition, but I'm still not sure which is which when undertaking an experiment. Could someone possibly give me an example of an experiment and which is which?
Answer:
Independent Variable: The thing in an experiment which is changed.
Dependent Variable: The thing in an experiment which is affected by the change. (In other words, it's affected by the independent variable.)
Control Variable: The other factors of the experiment that remain unchanged.
For example, say you want to do an experiment about the effects of water on plant height. So, the independent variable, or the thing that is changed would be the amount of water, and the dependent variable would be the plant height, as the plant height is directly affected by the independent variable. Lastly, for this to be a fair experiment, there must be control variables. For example, all of the plants should be put in a room with equal temperature, they should get the same amount of sunlight, etc.
I hope this answers your question- feel free to ask me if you need any more help.
Answer with Explanation:
Lol.. even i was confused before .. so i learnt now ill help u :
Simple!
See... lets take simple expirament to explain:
My expirament is to verify if sunlight affects the growth of plants ...
So here :
My controlled variable : It is what is held constant.. So ur supposed to NOT it like everything else expect sunlight..(ex: water, soil, type of plant etc)
My Independent variable : Variable that is changed.... So this is wht u ARE changing to make th expirament ... (for ex: here sunlight u will chanhe... u will put on in a dark room and a nother in the light..)
My dependetn variabe:l Some thing that changes on is own..cause of the expiramen t... like the result ..(for ex: height , growth of plant etc)
I hope u understood !! :))

Consider the following balanced chemical reaction:
N2 + 3 H2 → 2 NH3
If you needed to produce 41.0 g of NH3, how many grams of H2 would you need?
Answer:
7.27 grams
Explanation:
Format= starting amount (g)·(1 mol/molar mass)·(amount of wanted/amount of starting)·(molar mass of wanted/1 mol)
[tex]41.0 x \frac{1 mol}{17.031}x\frac{3 H2}{2NH3} x\frac{2.016}{1 mol} =7.27[/tex]

Is there a solution for the impacts overfishing?
Answer:
The world’s oceans are so big we thought for a long time that there was nothing humans could do to hurt them. Now we’re facing an imminent and global collapse of our fisheries, projected to happen as early as 2048, thanks to overfishing, wasteful fishing practices and massive overconsumption. But, there are a few key tried-and-tested solutions to overfishing that have been successfully implemented around the world. The trick is to scale these solutions up to a global scale, encouraging countries that have originally been resistant to helping and get them onboard, and supporting countries that don’t have the means to update their fishing policies themselves.
Hope it will help you
Chlorine has 7 valence electrons. With what group of elements will chlorine most readily bond?
Group 1
Group 2
Group 16
Group 18
Answer:
group 1
Explanation:
chlorine donate electron
Chlorine will more likely to form bonds with the elements of group 1 as it has 7 valence electrons.
Chlorine element:Chlorine is an element that is present in group 17. This family is also known as the Halogen family. The elements of this group will have seven electrons in their outermost shell. It has only one electron less to attain a stable noble electron configuration.
Thus, it will form bond more readily with Group 1 that has only one electron in its outermost shell.
Thus, correct option is a.

Around what pH are most of the substances in your body? Why?
Answer:
The pH scale measures how acidic or alkaline — basic — something is. Your body works constantly to carefully control pH levels of blood and other fluids. The body's pH balance is also called the acid-base or acid-alkaline balance. The right pH levels are needed for good health.
