To avoid these challenges, the management could have done a few things differently. Firstly, they could have communicated this policy in a more transparent manner. This would have helped to build trust among the employees. Secondly, the management could have involved the employees in the decision-making process. This would have made the employees feel that their opinions were valued and that they were part of the decision-making process. Lastly, the management could have provided some incentives to the employees to make up for the temporary reduction in their salaries. This would have helped to motivate the employees and would have reduced the negative impact of the policy on the productivity of the organization as a whole.
