You can substitute an egg with which of the following? A. 2 egg whites B. 1/2 cup egg substitute C. Both A and B D. None of the above

one or the other

Answers

the answer is A. 2 egg whites

You can substitute an egg with 2 egg whites.

Thus, the correct option is A.

What do you mean by egg?

An egg is an organic container that an animal develops to house an egg cell that may have been fertilized and to incubate an embryo from it inside the egg until the embryo has developed into an animal fetus that can survive on its own, at which point the animal hatches.

The majority of arthropods, including insects, vertebrates, and mollusks, lay eggs, however some do not, like scorpions. Eggs laid by reptiles, birds, and monotremes are laid outside of water and encased in a flexible or rigid protective shell.

While the embryo develops, eggs deposited on land or in nests are often maintained in a warm and suitable temperature range. The embryo "hatches," or emerges from the shell of the egg, when it is sufficiently mature.

A temporary egg tooth is a tool certain embryos have for breaking, cracking, or pipping the eggshell or covering.

How did the Crusades affect the feudal system?

Homework sucks

Answers

In a way, the crusades both the strengthened and sounded the death knell for the feudal system in Europe.

They solved one problem of too many knights in Europe wandering around killing people and disrupting life in general. The Crusades siphoned off this force and put them to work killing non-Christians. And pretty much every generation or so, there was another Crusade, another call for excess Christian thugs to join the hooligans in the east.

But the Crusades did two things which ultimately undid the feudal system. First, they provided a trade route and a taste of the exotic things of the East. Until you tasted pepper, you had no idea your food was so bland. The Crusades opened the door for the import/export of commodities, that is, beyond what could be made locally. That is, once you start exporting your labor, including your excess thug labor, well, now you get things moving back and forth that were made elsewhere and the rich develop a taste for the finer things.

Second, once people start going to the Holy Land you've got to start funding the process. Travel expenses and costs on Crusade and treasures looted from Saracens and even Constantinople are all money transactions. And this is way before the first ATM. Travelers checks don't work so well in the highlands of Syria, even American Express. Where there's a need, somebody will resolve it. So the great orders of knights, the Templars and the Hospitalers, in spite of their original purpose, they become bankers. They will take a mortgage on your home and give you a line of credit which can be exchanged for money in the Holy Land. Pretty soon, these orders are moving a lot of money and become the first international bankers. Once that function gets started certain people know they are richer or poorer than other people and this starts squabbles everywhere and kings can borrow money and eventually international banking is here to stay. Oh, the names on the doors have changed, but not the function. This really kills feudalism; no longer are people strictly tied to one spot, they can now work elsewhere and make money, elsewhere.

Cool winters and mild summers with good precipitation for crops

Cool winters and mild summers with good precipitation for crops describe the climate of most of Germany. Thus, option 'C' is the correct option.

Is Germany mostly hot or cold?

Germany has a mostly temperate seasonal climate, which is tempered by the North Atlantic Drift, despite its northern latitude. This makes it possible for its residents to have pleasant summers and reasonably moderate winters. In Germany, since there isn't a regular dry season, it rains all year round, with the summer being among the wettest months.

Germany's north and northwest enjoy an oceanic climate with warm summers and moderate winters because of their closeness to the Baltic shore. These areas do not encounter temperature extremes, but they do have high humidity and a lot of rain. The north has frigid winters due to winds from Scandinavia. The weather in eastern Germany grows more continental as you get farther from the sea.

What year (BC/B.C.E.) did the Egyptians successfully settle the world’s oldest civilization, and how long after Mesopotamia was it?

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

Ancient Egypt was a civilization of ancient North Africa, concentrated along the lower reaches of the Nile River, situated in the place that is now the country Egypt. Ancient Egyptian civilization followed prehistoric Egypt and coalesced around 3100 BC (according to conventional Egyptian chronology)[1] with the political unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under Menes (often identified with Narmer).[2] The history of ancient Egypt occurred as a series of stable kingdoms, separated by periods of relative instability known as Intermediate Periods: the Old Kingdom of the Early Bronze Age, the Middle Kingdom of the Middle Bronze Age and the New Kingdom of the Late Bronze Age.

The pyramids of Giza are among the most recognizable symbols of the civilization of ancient Egypt.

Egypt reached the pinnacle of its power in the New Kingdom, ruling much of Nubia and a sizable portion of the Near East, after which it entered a period of slow decline. During the course of its history Egypt was invaded or conquered by a number of foreign powers, including the Hyksos, the Libyans, the Nubians, the Assyrians, the Achaemenid Persians, and the Macedonians under the command of Alexander the Great. The Greek Ptolemaic Kingdom, formed in the aftermath of Alexander's death, ruled Egypt until 30 BC, when, under Cleopatra, it fell to the Roman Empire and became a Roman province.[3]

The success of ancient Egyptian civilization came partly from its ability to adapt to the conditions of the Nile River valley for agriculture. The predictable flooding and controlled irrigation of the fertile valley produced surplus crops, which supported a more dense population, and social development and culture. With resources to spare, the administration sponsored mineral exploitation of the valley and surrounding desert regions, the early development of an independent writing system, the organization of collective construction and agricultural projects, trade with surrounding regions, and a military intended to assert Egyptian dominance. Motivating and organizing these activities was a bureaucracy of elite scribes, religious leaders, and administrators under the control of a pharaoh, who ensured the cooperation and unity of the Egyptian people in the context of an elaborate system of religious beliefs.[4]

The many achievements of the ancient Egyptians include the quarrying, surveying and construction techniques that supported the building of monumental pyramids, temples, and obelisks; a system of mathematics, a practical and effective system of medicine, irrigation systems and agricultural production techniques, the first known planked boats,[5] Egyptian faience and glass technology, new forms of literature, and the earliest known peace treaty, made with the Hittites.[6] Ancient Egypt has left a lasting legacy. Its art and architecture were widely copied, and its antiquities carried off to far corners of the world. Its monumental ruins have inspired the imaginations of travelers and writers for centuries. A newfound respect for antiquities and excavations in the early modern period by Europeans and Egyptians led to the scientific investigation of Egyptian civilization and a greater appreciation of its cultural legacy.[7]

Why Aśoka’s belief in nonviolence?

Aoka did not abolish the death penalty, but he did restrict the use of state violence as a tactic in the administration of justice for crimes. Aoka applied nonviolence or the reduction of violence to all living things, not only people, in accordance with his Buddhist views.

Ashoka's pillar and rock edicts, which gave him access to a huge audience and established a long-lasting historical record, are largely responsible for his fame. He is remembered as a role model for a king who governed the vast and varied Mauryan kingdom with dharma at the core of his philosophy.

As shown in the sculpture at Sanchi Stupa's South Gateway, Ashoka had a grotesquely pumpkin-like visage and was a small, paunchy guy.

The Revolutionary War (1775-83), also known as the American Revolution, arose from growing tensions between residents of Great Britain’s 13 North American colonies and the colonial government, which represented the British crown. Skirmishes between British troops and colonial militiamen in Lexington and Concord in April 1775 kicked off the armed conflict, and by the following summer, the rebels were waging a full-scale war for their independence. France entered the American Revolution on the side of the colonists in 1778, turning what had essentially been a civil war into an international conflict.
