Answer 2

Answer:

A. & B.

Explanation:

Neither can be broken down into something besides an atom, the "purest" form matter can exist in. For example, if you were to break down C6H12O6 (glucose), you wouldn't be able to break down a singular atom of carbon into something different.

If an object has a Mass of 11g and a volume fo 13mil, what is its density?
A.143g/ml
B.0.85g/ml
C.2g/ml D.24g/ml

Answers

Answer:

[tex]\boxed {\boxed {\sf B. \ d \approx 0.85 \ g/mL}}[/tex]

Explanation:

Density is found by dividing the mass by the volume.

[tex]d=\frac{m}{v}[/tex]

The mass of the object is 11 grams and the volume is 13 milliliters.

[tex]m= 11 \ g \\v= 13 \ mL[/tex]

Substitute the values into the formula.

[tex]d= \frac{11 \ g}{13 \ mL}[/tex]

Divide.

[tex]d=0.846153846 \ g/mL[/tex]

Round to the nearest hundredth. The 6 in the thousandth place tells us to round the 4 to a 5.

[tex]d \approx 0.85 \ g/mL[/tex]

The density is about 0.85 grams per milliliter.

Do you believe humans are responsible for global warming or do you believe this is part of a natural cycle of Earth, like periodic ice ages?

Answers

Answer:

If I had to choose I think it would be humans fault.

Explanation:

To think that we are the reason for global warming and everything would make the next person a little insulted but when you think about it a long time ago when there was not many technological advancements there was not complains of global warming or anything until recently. Temperatures are starting to rise and more and more pollution is filling our atmosphere. As it could be true that it might not be entirely our fault as humans I think we took a major part in it.

Determine el número de moles presentes en una esfera de titaniode 0.5 cm de radio, sabiendo que la densidad del titanio es de 4507kg/m³. =433

Answers

Answer:

0.0493 moles de Titanio

Explanation:

Primero, debemos hallar el volumen de la esfera. Usando la densidad podemos hallar la masa de titanio y usando la masa atómica encontraremos las moles de titanio:

Volumen de la esfera:

Volumen esfera  = 4/3π * Radio³

Volumen = 0.5236cm³

En m³ (1m³ = 1x10⁶cm³):

0.5236cm³ * (1m³ / 1x10⁶cm³) = 5.36x10⁻⁷m³

Masa en gramos:

5.36x10⁻⁷m³ * (4507kg / m³) = 2.36x10⁻³kg * (1000g / 1kg) = 2.36g de Titanio

Moles -Masa molar Ti: 47.867g/mol-:

2.36g de Titanio * (1mol / 47.867g) =

0.0493 moles de Titanio

Jay painted the inner four walls of a box. Then he put an ice block into it such that it did not touch the walls, but he couldn't do the same when he put water in that box. Why?

Answers

Answer:

Liquid takes the shape of container, so it will always touch the walls of the box in which you put it.

Explanation:

We know that a solid has a definite shape and a definite volume hence it occupies only its own volume in the box, it does not touch the walls of the box.

However, a liquid does not have a definite shape and volume. It occupies the volume of the box. Therefore, the liquid water must definitely touch the walls of the box.

Therefore, the number of mole will be 1.065 × [tex]10^{24}[/tex].

What is mole?

A mole is the quantity of a substance containing 6.023 x [tex]10^{23}[/tex] particles of that substance. The mole is really the SI unit for a substance's quantity.

It is given that, mass of 230 gram of CoCl2.

Moles = mass / molar mass

Put the value of given data in mole formula.

Moles = 230 / 129.8

Moles = 1.77

It is known that, 1 mole = 6.02 × [tex]10^{23}[/tex] molecule.

Hence, 177 moles =  6.02 × [tex]10^{23}[/tex] × 1.77 = 10.65 ×  [tex]10^{23}[/tex] .

Therefore, the number of mole will be 1.065 × [tex]10^{24}[/tex].

1) So, the first step in finding the formula of a certain compound is to look at the periodic table and see what group they are in. The group they are in corresponds to their charge :
Group 1 has charges of 1+
Group 2 has 2+
Group 3 has 3+
Group 4 has +/-4
Group 5 has -3
Group 6 has -2
Group 7 has -1
Group 8 doesn’t form ions because they don’t react.

Do you notice a pattern? Group 4 is like the middle and both sides.

For example, lets look at the first question:
Na (Sodium) is in group 1. This means that its ions have a 1+ charge. And Cl (Chlorine) in in group 7, meaning it has a 1- charge.

2) In the next step we try to cancel out the charges by finding the lowest common multiple. But, in this case, there is no need because 1+ and 1- cancel out to have an overall charge of 0 when they are in a compound.

3) Lastly, we put the two elements together. If we multiplied it to cancel the charges in the previous step, then we need to put the number we multiplied it by in front of it.

Lets do another example:

Magnesium is in group 2, therefore it forms a 2+ ion.
Oxygen is in group 6, therefore it forms a 2- ion.
Both charges cancel out and we are left with MgO.

The next example involved the 2nd step.

Lithium is in group 1, so it forms 1+ ions.
Oxygen is in group 6, so it forms 2- ions.

In order to cancel out the charges, we have to multiply lithium by to to get Li2 with a 2+ charge.

Now the charges cancel and we can put them together to get Li2O.

Hope this helped! If you have any more questions please ask :))

6 grams of sodium chloride (NaCl) is dissolved to create 0.5 L of solution. What is the
molarity of this solution?

Answers

Answer:

0.206M

Explanation:

Molarity, which refers to the molar concentration of a substance can be calculated using the formula as follows:

Molarity (M) = number of moles (n) ÷ volume (V)

According to the provided information, mass = 6grams, volume = 0.5L

Since molar mass of NaCl = 23 + 35.5

= 58.5g/lol

Mole = mass/molar mass

Mole = 6/58.5

Mole = 0.103mol

Hence;

Molarity = 0.103/0.5

Molarity = 0.206M

A type of learning when one suddenly realizes how to solve a problem.A. Associative learningB. Abstract learningC. Insight learningD. Enlightened learning 1 The use of home remedies has a long history. Natural home remedies have been around hundreds, and in some cases, thousands of years. They come from folk traditions of medicine and therapy. Before modern medicine, treatments were passed down from generation to generation. These treatments typically included the use of native plants, such as flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables. Traditional medicine is based on skills and practices developed through the experiences of people long before modern medicine came into existence.2 Today, the use of home remedies is on the rise. Many people are concerned with potential side effects of modern medicines, so they are turning to traditional medicine for alternative treatment. In some areas of the world, folk medicine never went away. For example, in some rural communities in Asia and Africa, more than 80 percent of the population relies on traditional treatment as their primary form of health care.3 Herbalism, ethnomedicine, and medical anthropology are fields of modern medicine that are dedicated to the study of traditional medicine. Some of these methods have been proven to be effective by modern research. Much of this research focuses on the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory traits of many common plants.4 Home remedies are inexpensive and natural options for many medical issues. Most home remedies are not medically proven, so one should always consult a doctor for any medical issue. However, using folk medicine to help relieve certain symptoms can help in some situations. For example, the following home remedies are still practiced and have become common in modern culture.5 Chicken soup has long been a home remedy for relieving the symptoms of upper respiratory infections. Honey, garlic, and tea have long been used in the treatment of cold and flu symptoms. Honey can help relieve a cough, and garlic can help a sore throat. Garlic has antimicrobial properties that also fight pain and irritation. Linden flower tea can help reduce a fever. The tea stimulates the part of the brain that controls temperature. It also makes the body sweat, which can reduce a fever.6 For stomach-related problems, ginger and peppermint are common home remedies. Ginger is used to treat nausea. It works best to infuse warm water with ginger; then strain it and freeze it. Nibbling on the ginger ice chips can help relieve nausea. Peppermint is also used to treat an upset stomach. It helps kill bacteria in the gut that causes bloating and discomfort.7 Willow tree bark tea helps get rid of headaches. It contains similar chemicals as the pain relievers in aspirin. The gel from the aloe vera plant helps soothe the pain of a burn. The gel protects the nerve endings on the skin from the air. Foot odor can be banished by soaking feet in vinegar and water, or in black tea. Both treatments kill smelly bacteria.8 Every culture has a tradition of home remedies. People have trusted folk medicine for centuries. The fact that many of these remedies cannot be scientifically proven doesn't seem to matter to the people who say they work.In which two ways does the third paragraph contribute to the development of ideas in the passage?It supports the ideas of the second paragraph by using modern medical terms to explain the useful properties of home remedies.It establishes the idea that home remedies are rooted in traditional knowledge.It cites modern research to demonstrate the effectiveness of home remedies.It explains the benefits of folk medicine and home remedies in curing serious illnesses.It reinforces the idea in the fourth paragraph that home remedies are inexpensive by emphasizing the healing properties of A nation needs capital to become industrialized. true or false PLEASE HURRY< PUT ANSWER DOWN BELOW IN THE BOXRead this excerpt from Weve Got a Job.One of her grandmothers assured her, "You'll be fine."Which point of view does Audreys grandmother use in this excerpt?first personsecond personthird personfourth person e669yrx4pk answer this question so i give you brain thingy The ingredients for your skillet brownie cost $2.
