As a college student, what are the biggest health risks/concerns with casual relationships and casual sex?
What do you think is the best way to educate students on the health risks/concerns of casual sex?
How should one determine the best birth control or contraceptive method for you and your partner? What resources are available to you on our campuses?
Answer:
Much attention has been focused on efforts to reduce unintended pregnancy by improving contraceptive use among high-risk women; however, there is limited information to guide interventions to engage young men in contraceptive decision-making. We conducted focus groups of young men, ages 19–26, from diverse racial backgrounds from low-income communities in the San Francisco Bay Area to examine social norms about sexual relationships and how they impact on contraceptive use. The data were analysed using content analysis. A range of relationships were described, however casual relationships predominated. While young men expressed strong desires to avoid pregnancy in casual relationships, the unpredictable nature of relationships, together with low communication and regard for the women involved, made stressing consistent contraceptive use among partners unlikely. The themes expressed by these young men about sex and behaviour in different relationships illustrate a spectrum of decision-making dilemmas and illustrate the inherent difficulty in fully engaging young men in contraceptive decision-making. A strategy is needed to address relationship values, dynamics, and condom use beyond STI prevention frameworks, and young women’s ability to make appropriate contraceptive choices in light of the inherent difficulties and uncertainty associated with casual relationships.

Optimal reproductive health means that women and men have the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide if, when, and how often to do so, in addition to having a satisfying and safe sex life (United Nations 1994). Over the last 15 years, unintended pregnancy rates in the USA overall have remained essentially unchanged at approximately half of all pregnancies, serving as an important marker of suboptimal reproductive health status (Finer and Henshaw 2006). Most of programmatic and research attention has focused on women since they are at risk of unintended pregnancy. With the exception of male condoms and withdrawal, reversible contraceptive methods are used by women (Darroch 2008). Despite the limited technology to control their fertility, men play both an indirect and direct role in sexual and contraceptive decision-making. To address the problem of unintended pregnancy, it is critical to take into account how men think about and behave in sexual relationships and how they influence contraceptive decision-making.

What impacts a nation's ability to pay for its
people's medical needs and healthcare costs?
It’s economy
It’s medical professionals
It’s traditions and culture
It’s geographic location
Answer:
Its economy.
Explanation:
The condition of a country's economy has a huge impact on the ability of a nation to pay for its people's medical needs and healthcare cost. In low-income countries like Afghanistan, Chad, Ethiopia and the like, it is very difficult to provide people with affordable healthcare services although there is a "universal health coverage." Many of these countries resort to external aid or ask for assistance from many donors, but still, it is not enough. It largely depends, too, on how efficient a nation knows how to prioritize the health of its people.

Brittany learns that her primary care doctor will be switching to electronic health records. Although she understands that this will improve her care, she expresses concern to her doctor. What is likely one of her concerns?
A. The risk of her medical information being misused or shared.
B. Lack of personal access to her files.
C. Loss of revenue by her doctor's office.
D. Increased cost of a doctor visit.
Answer:
One of the main concerns Brittany may have about her doctor using electronic medical records is the risk of her medical information being misused or shared.
Explanation:
In the doctor-patient relationship, one of the most important aspects is the maintenance of the patient's information in secrecy and security, since the medical history is a personal, sensitive and delicate information.
Changing from physical medical records to digital records implies the risk that the information may be lost or accessible to others, who may misuse it. This is a logical concern for a patient, like Brittany, when she knows that her doctor will be using electronic medical records.
The other options are not correct because:
The patient will always have access to his medical information, whether it is physical or digital. Changing to medical records does not imply loss of revenue by her doctor's office or increased cost of a doctor visit.why do we need to follow the safety measures in playing games?

and target heart rate (you need to provide two numbers and round to the nearest whole number)? Be sure
to include bpm (beats per minute) after your numeric answer. You must show all of your work on how you
reached each final answer. If you do not round your target heart rate to the nearest whole number or add
the label to your answer it will be marked wrong.
1) Maximum heart rate =
2) Heart rate reserve =
3) Target heart rate =
Answer:
A 17 year old with a resting heart rate of 62 bpm has a maximum hearth rate of 203 bpm, a hearth rate reserve of 141 bpm and target hearth rate between 161 and 182 bpm
Explanation:
Target heart rate is a measure used to calculate the range of heart rate that should be maintained during intense exercise.
Knowing a person's age and resting heart rate (RHR), a target heart rate calculation can be made from the maximum heart rate (MHR) and the hearth rate reserve (HRR)
Data:
- Age: 17 years old
- RHR: 68 bpm
The maximum heart rate is calculated by subtracting age from a constant value of 220, so:
MHR = 220 - ageMHR = 220 - 17 MHR = 203 bpmHRR is calculated by subtracting the resting heart rate (RHR) from the MHR value:
HRR = MHR - RHR HRR = 203 - 62HRR = 141 bpmTHR is obtained by multiplying the HRR by 0.7 and 0.85, to obtain the range of heart rate in which the exercise can be performed.
THR lower limit = (HRR x 0.7) + RHR Lower THR = (141 x 0.7) + 62 = 160.7 ≈ 161 bpmTHR top limit = (HRR x 0.85) + RHR THR top = (141 x 0.85) + 62 = 181,85 ≈ 182 bpmFor the 17-year-old, the ideal target heart rate for an intense exercise is between the values of 161 and 182 bpm.
