What is one way Scar’s reign as king is different from Mufasa’s reign as king?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Scar only cared about power and himself, he didn't care about the hyenas, lions or any other animals living in the kingdom. He made no sacrifices for anyone and disrupted the food chain and ecosystem. Mufasa on the other hand maintained hunting and the populations of animals and cared for everyone.

Explanation:

Answer 2

One way Scar's reign as king is different from Mufasa's reign as king is in their leadership styles and priorities. Mufasa was a just and benevolent ruler who cared for all the inhabitants of the Pride Lands, ensuring their safety and well-being.

He followed the circle of life, maintaining the delicate balance of nature. On the other hand, Scar was a tyrannical and selfish ruler who prioritized his own desires over the welfare of the Pride Lands and its inhabitants. He implemented destructive policies and allowed the Pride Lands to become a barren wasteland under his rule.

Scar's reign was characterized by corruption, cruelty, and neglect of his responsibilities as king. Overall, Mufasa's reign was marked by wisdom, fairness, and a genuine concern for his kingdom, while Scar's reign was marked by selfishness, greed, and the deterioration of the once-prosperous Pride Lands.

Democracy can be defined as a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

There are two (2) main types of democracy and these include;

I. Representative democracy: it's also known as indirect democracy and can be defined as a form of government which typically involves the process of having the citizens of a particular country vote to elect representatives (political leaders) to enact laws, create policies and make decisions on their behalf.

II. Direct democracy: it can be defined as a process which typically involves the candidates voting for their preferred choice. Thus, their choices are reflected directly on the subject matter.

Under democracy, a primary is the most common form of party candidate selection.

Similarly, the National Convention which is usually held before a major (presidential) election is considered to be the "voice" of a political party because it is where the presidential candidate of the party is nominated. Dr. Kushner is especially curious about selective sleep deprivation, where people are kept from entering REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. Using an electroencephalograph (EEG) to monitor brain waves, he plans to let participants sleep until they enter REM sleep and then wake them. After the participants are awake for one minute, Dr. Kushner plans to let them return to sleep. As they enter REM sleep again, he will wake them again and follow the same procedure. He plans to do this through the entire eight-hour sleep session. Which of the following issues should be considered most heavily when deciding whether to use deception?
a. Whether he can create a convincing story that his participants will believe
b. Whether his participants will be angry when they find out he used deception
c. Whether his institutional review board (IRB) will approve the use of deception
d. Whether he can conduct the study just as well without deception

Answer:

d. Whether he can conduct the study just as well without deception

Explanation:

Dr. Kushner must make the greatest possible effort so that the experiment he is conducting has correct and balanced results, where all variables have been tested in the best possible way. He understands this need and is therefore reflecting on whether to deceive the experiment participants (with a false reason for them to wake up) or to follow the experiment without deception. To decide this, he must ask himself if he will be able to conduct the experiment efficiently without the use of deception, as participants may be unmotivated to wake up if they do not have a fair, even if false, reason for doing so.

What does the increase in weapons technology say about the United States in general?

Answers

Answer:

There are many pros and cons to this concept.

The pros are that we have better materials for protection and offense for our military. Also, this gives individuals better defense, as well.

The cons to this concept is that people in the wrong state of mind can easily injure or worse kill vulnerable people.

So what does this say about the United States in general?

The United States is like a pan balance; if there aren’t many weapons, there will be fewer massacres, shootings and robberies. But, say someone in a situation where that does happen, there is a higher and unfortunate chance that they won’t be able to protect themselves. If there are lots of weapons, there will be more crime, but also an increase in defense & protection and a decrease in vulnerability.

The United States is full of extremely intelligent people which can have dangerous consequences. An increase in weapons technology is another step up in nature and it shows America’s power, brilliance, and intelligence. This will make the U.S. military undefeatable.

what are the key features of Indian Constitution??????????

Answers

Ishan Jha
The Constitution of India is the supreme law of India. It is a living document, an instrument which makes the government system work. It lays down the framework defining fundamental political principles, establishes the structure, procedures, powers and duties of government institutions and sets out fundamental rights, directive principles and the duties of citizens. It is the longest written constitution of any sovereign country in the world, containing 449 articles in 25 parts, 12 schedules, 5 appendices and 101 Amendments.

Salient Features of the Indian Constitution

1. The lengthiest Constitution in the world The Indian Constitution is the lengthiest and the most detailed of all the written Constitutions of the world containing 449 articles in 25 parts, 12 schedules, 5 appendices and 101 Amendments.

2. Parliamentary form of Government The constitution of India establishes a parliamentary form of a government both at the Centre and the State. The essence of the parliamentary government is its responsibility to the Legislature. The president is the constitutional head of the State but the real executive power is vested in the council of ministers whose head is the Prime Minister.

3. Unique blend of rigidity and flexibility It has been the nature of the amending process itself in federations which had led political scientists to classify federal Constitution as rigid.

4. Fundamental Rights The incorporation of a formal declaration of Fundamental Rights in part III of the Constitution is deemed to be a distinguishing feature of a democratic State. These rights are prohibitions against the State. The State cannot make a law which takes away or abridges any of the rights of the citizens guaranteed in part III of Constitution.

5. Directive Principles of State policy (DPSP) The Directive Principles of State Policy contained in Part IV of the Constitution, it set out the aims and objectives to be taken up by the States in the governance of the country.

6. A federation with strong centralising tendency The most remarkable feature of the Indian Constitution is that being a federal Constitution it acquires a unitary character during the time of emergency. During the proclamation of emergency the normal distribution of powers between Centre and State undergoes a vital change. The union parliament is empower to legislate on any subject mentioned in the state list. The financial arrangements between the Centre and State can also be altered by the Union Government.

7. Adult Suffrage The old system of communal electorates has been abolished and the uniform adult suffrage system has been adopted. Under the Indian Constitution every man and women above 18 years of age has been given the right to elect representatives for the legislature. 8. An Independent Judiciary An independent and impartial judiciary with power of judicial review has been established under the Constitution of India. It is a custodian right of citizens. Besides, in a federal Constitution it plays another significant role of determining the limits of power of the Centre and States.

9. A Secular State A Secular State has no religion of its own as recognised religion of State. It treats all religions equally. Articles 25 to 28 of the Indian Constitution give concrete shape to this concept of secularism. It guarantees to every person the freedom of conscience and the right to profess, practice and propagate religion. In a Secular state, the state only regulate the relationship between man and man.

10. Single Citizenship The American constitution provides for dual citizenship, i.e., the citizen of America and a state citizenship. But in India there is only one citizenship, i.e., Citizen of India. No state citizenship like citizen of Assam, Citizen of Delhi. Every Indian is Citizen of India and enjoy the same rights of citizenship no matter in what state he resides
