There are three basic elements to fitness: aerobic activity, strength training and flexibility
Aerobic exercise is any type of cardiovascular conditioning. It can include activities like brisk walking, swimming, running, or cycling. You probably know it as “cardio.” By definition, aerobic exercise means “with oxygen.” Your breathing and heart rate will increase during aerobic activities.
Stength training is system of physical conditioning in which muscles are exercised by being worked against an opposing force (as by lifting weights) to increase strength.
Flexibility is when you bend or stretch intensely without breaking a bone.
