Find an officer to wrangle the media that will show up, and make sure to sit those guys in an area where they can’t get in the way. The media should be put as far as legally possible from the scene.
-Fifth, you hold the fort and organize. Bust out the command white board and write down what is done, what needs to be done, and who is doing it. Put names, badge numbers, and phone numbers next to the tasks. Be prepared to deal with a secondary scene. Make sure everyone has the gear they need.
