What have you learned about the oppression that women are forced to endure in Afghanistan?

Answers

Lack of Job Opportunities
Up from 31 percent in 2008 to 35 percent in 2009, unemployment is cited as the second biggest problem Afghan women face. A separate study indicated that only a quarter of government positions are occupied by women.
Although Article 48 of the constitution stipulates that every Afghan has the right to work, the government does not pave the way for women to gain positions in government. Other factors also contribute to unemployment, such as low literacy rates and professional skills among women; disagreement over a woman’s right to work outside of the house (in this survey, only 67 percent of respondents agree with a woman’s right to work outside of the house, while 23 percent do not agree); issues over women working in an office or environment with men; poor security; and women’s historical economic dependence on men. Parents often hold a double standard regarding children’s education, with more attention given to the education of boys than to that of girls.

C) Currently, anybody are welcome to serve themselves the soup.

D) Before long, the beverages in the cooler is going to be nice and cold.

Answers

Answer:

b)

Explanation:

its the only one that makes sense

Answer:

Eventually, all of the river water flows into the sea.

Explanation:

"None of the fruit juices is as acidic as vinegar."

is should be are, since the fruit juices is plural.

so that takes out A.

"Currently, anybody are welcome to serve themselves the soup."

Now this one should be is, any "body" means one person, so it shouldn't be plural. That takes out option C.

" Before long, the beverages in the cooler is going to be nice and cold."

The "is" should be are since beverages is plural.

That takes out d.

The correct answer is B!

We need to be united in america, and in the past we havent been. It has been a goal of our country forever that our citizens are united as one, and obviously we are not. Write a short paragraph of no more than ten lines on the "Advantages of Having Green Hair." Remember to pack in as much information as you can in the fewest, most interesting, number of words.

Answers

Having green hair has several advantages. For one, it looks lovely. Green hair brings to mind emeralds shining in the sunlight. It is juniper leaves swaying in a sweet summer breeze. The color green is not considered creative by many. I don’t believe it. Green is nature’s favorite color. Whilst painting plants, lizards, snakes, and even birds, nature reaches for green first. Therefore, having green hair puts you more in touch with Mother Nature. Green hair may repel certain people from you. This is actually a benefit as those are the people who are prejudice and not worth your time. Instead, people who are intrigued by green hair will come up to you and want to talk to you. Green hair will help you find real friends that have a higher chance of lasting a lifetime.

Read this excerpt from "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi” by Rudyard Kipling.

"Son of the big man that killed Nag,” she hissed, "stay still. I am not ready yet. Wait a little. Keep very still, all you three. If you move I strike, and if you do not move I strike. Oh, foolish people, who killed my Nag!”

Teddy's eyes were fixed on his father, and all his father could do was to whisper, "Sit still, Teddy. You mustn't move. Teddy, keep still.”

Then Rikki-tikki came up and cried: "Turn round, Nagaina; turn and fight!”

"All in good time,” said she, without moving her eyes. "I will settle my account with you presently. Look at your friends, Rikki-tikki. They are still and white; they are afraid. They dare not move, and if you come a step nearer I strike.”

"Look at your eggs,” said Rikki-tikki, "in the melon-bed near the wall. Go and look, Nagaina.”

The big snake turned half round, and saw the egg on the verandah. "Ah-h! Give it to me,” she said.

Based on the excerpt, which question would be the best interview question to ask Rikki-tikki?

How did you distract Nagaina to take her attention away from the family?
How did you feel when you saw that Nagaina had Teddy cornered?
How did Teddy’s father help keep him calm?
How did Nagaina threaten you?

Essay on how dropping out of high school should be an illegal offense.

Answers

Answer:I believe that students should to school until they are eighteen. These are my why, first financially you live better, secondly dropouts will suffer and finally there is a more positive effect if students stay until they are 18.

Would you like to live in the real world by yourself at the age of sixteen or when you are an adult? Financially have you ever heard of a 16 year old making a lot of money I know you have heard of an 18 year old graduate becoming successful such as Michael Dell , Mark Zuckerberg , Bill Gates and Kevin Plank although they dropped out of college it was for their industry, but they all finished high school .

Another reason you will be successful if you stay in high school until you are 18 is if you are in the job industry and they see in your resume you have got your high school diploma  and are in college getting your degree they would take you over a sixteen year old dropout . Some reason why they might not choose a sixteen year old is inexperience, maturity and other reasons that prove they are not ready. This is why you see many young people at fast food restaurants.

An advantage you have if you stay until you are 18 is that you have a choice of going into the real world and making a name for yourself or going to college and expanding your mind or you could do both. Many people that go through high school and college are more likely to get jobs over a person who has their GED.

I know there are some successful people who ended up dropping out of high school to become famous but they did not have to put as much effort as people who go through high school and college.

I think dropouts don’t deserve to have so much fame because many people work harder than dropouts but get paid less than a dime of what a dropout does.
