But if you break it up into several smaller goals the whole experience becomes less stressful. By becoming proficient in riding the board and only then learning abilities the goal becomes more manageable.
Setting goals keeps you focused on a single task at a time. This makes achieving dreams within reach. Many achievements could never be made without goals.
