First you send your kids off to go to school in the real world, witch is changing very, very fast. But our schools haven't changed for hundreds of years. “The sole intent of the education system wad to train people to be willing to work in a Factory” Stated Seth godin. “Education in modelled in the Interest of the industrial age and in the image of it.” Said at a interview once Ken Robinson.


Problem 1: Industrial age values
All day long students do nothing but follow instructions but, sit down, take out you books, go to problem number 3, stop talking. At school your award for doing exactly what you do. These are the same rules for industry workers. How far can you go in the real world by that rule? The real world respects people how can be creative, communicate their ideas, and collaborate with others. But we don't get to developpe suck skills in a system that's based on industry values.


Problem 2: Lack of autonomy
At school kids can not control what they learn the system controls what you learn, But in today's world you like to do what you do. You do it causes you want to. You manage your own time. While making your own designs, regarding want to do it, and when to do it. But life at school looks very different, that kids are not incontrol of their own lifes. They just follow what ever is to be done. Not making their own lifes. Expert believe Anthony is incredibly important for children. It's no wonder how there always bored and don't like school. “Children don't like school because in school they are not free.” Says Peter gray. Can u imagine how you would feel if you were told exactly what to do for every minute of your life?


Problem 3: Inauthentic meaning
Most of the learning in not authentic causes it relies on memorization, and rote learning. The system makes all kids must know what they're learning. And then every few months we retained by administering exams. WE know this is not authentic causes most of it is gone the day after the exam. It can be so much more than just memorization, and retention. But that's the only thing we musser, and test scores is the only thing we value. This has created a very unhealthy culture for students, parents, and teachers. Children are going through endless hours of learning. Staying up all night memorizing ulsee facts that they will forget very soon.

Problem 4: No room for passion
We have a very strict rule, where each child must learn the same thing at the same time, in the same way as everyone else. This doesn't respect the basic fact for being a human, that each of us is unique and different in our own way. We all have different passions and interest. Life today is to find our passion. But does school find or develop their passion? There is no room to ever say, “What am i good at? What do i want to do in life? How do I fit in this world?” But the system doesn't seem to care. There are so many greatly tall people how failed in the tradition schools. “Had a average grade of “C” in school” By Winston churchill. “Failed 6th grade” Said Steven spielberg. Was described as hopeless and a clown in class” By John Lennon. Was expelled for rebelliousness. Quote by Albert einstein.

Problem 5: Difference in how we learn
All of us in also different in how we learn, in how much time we take to learn something, and what tools and records work best for us. But the system has no room for such differences. So if you a bit slow in learning something you are considered a failure. When all you ended was a bit of time to catch up.

Problem 6: Lecturing
In the current system children are lecuterd more than 5 hours a day. But there are a few big probes with all that. In the class different students are at different levels in how much of understanding they are in. Whatever class your in there are bond to be students who are bored because there ahead, or confused causes there behind. Now thanks to internet , and digital media, kids have at their fingertips all the information in the world. Technology has made it possible for anyone to learn anything. But for fear on losing control the system is not alloy for you to use these incredible resources!


Our system of “school” with evolved in the induslaty age, has become outdated, and ineffective. If we want to prepare kids for the modern day world, if we want leaning to be effective and engaging, then there's no doubt we need to fundamentally change our system of education.
