Reason I returned to school essay
Answer:
reason i returned to school essay
Explanation:
There are many good reasons why I chose to go back to college, despite it took me 12 years after graduating High school to make that choice. For example, my children are the number one reason why I am currently studying to get a nursing degree. Having an education opens many doors for me to succeed, and provide a better life for them. I want to give them the opportunity to farther their education after High School. First, I want them to be proud of me; Second, I want to encourage them to keep studying; And third, make them see that getting an education is the best decision, and they follow my example. I want to secure their future, by having a college found for both of them separately, so they do not have to worry about money for college. Another good reason is, to help lighten the Burden on my husband’s shoulders if work would slow down, or he loses his job. To go to college and get an education makes me the back-up plan to support my family. My husband is the only provider for my children and I, and I plan to change that. Furthermore, I want to make adequate preparations for our retirement plan, so my children do not have to worry about us, when we get old. One last reason is to make myself proud, to achieve a degree on a career I enjoy. Going back to school has been the best choice I made in a very long time, and all my reasons for it, makes it so much worth it.
The reason I returned back to school was for personal and professional reasons, with the intensions of gaining the knowledge and skills to be a successful educator.
I’ve wasted enough time, been at a standstill with my career for a long time, it was time for a major change. I decided to go back to school for not only myself, but my son as well. I got sick of living paycheck to paycheck barely making ends meet. Not being able to provide for my son was very frustrating. He’s at the age now to where I didn’t want him to see his mother struggling. It hurts to tell your child that you can’t get this now or you have to wait till my next pay.
I’m 35 years old with goals that I feel I should have accomplished already, but have not. My family and friends has contributed to me wanting to further my education. I look at them in see great accomplishment and fulfillment in their eye. That’s what I want for myself.
As a parent and educator it’s important that I’m always learning so I can give my son and students the very best of me. In during this they will wreak the rewards and benefits that I didn’t have as a child growing up. We as parents are always telling our children that education is the key to great success in that you can accomplish or conquer the world with hard work and dedication.
Noting having my degree determined how far I would go in my career and determined my pay scale as well. I applied for a position received a letter by mail stating that although you have the experience, we decided to go with someone more qualified. That means someone with a college education and a degree. Receiving this letter was a reality check for me I was so disappointed with myself because this was the perfect job for me. In I let it slip right though my fingers all because I didn’t have that college degree.

Answer: emphasize that statewide changes depend on individual choices
Explanation: Writers frequently use subordination to signal an imbalance or inequality between ideas. In the sentence toward the middle of the final paragraph, the author uses the subordinate clause “if Wyoming is going to be a more diverse place” to identify a situation that could exist in the future. She then uses an independent clause to reveal the condition that must be met for this situation to exist—“people have to choose to live” there. I peered out the window at the lengthening shadows of the trees. We had been on the road for six hours, but it felt like sixty given the appalling surface. I was now worried that we wouldn’t arrive before nightfall, and my fears weren’t helped by the driver’s eccentric behaviour. Although it was dark, he still hadn’t turned the van’s lights on. Through my translator I enquired why, yet I immediately wished I hadn’t. There weren’t any. Fearing that we might all have to spend a night in the jungle, I ventured another question beloved of children everywhere. “Are we nearly there yet?” Just one more hour was the reply. I checked my watch. Sunset was in 10 minutes. Fifty minutes on an unmade trail at 40 miles per hour. In the jungle. In the dark. Just great.

The phrases above are two examples of complex phrases that can be found in the text.
A complex sentence is one that is formed by an independent clause and one or two dependent clauses. As you may already know, dependent clauses are those that cannot convey a complete thought on their own and therefore need a complement to make sense, unlike the independent clauses that can conclude a thought and convey a complete meaning without the need for complement.

Why is the underlined word in the analogy Incorrect?
smart: clever as curious: bored
A. It has an antonym relationship with curious instead of a synonym
relationship
B. It has a part-whole relationship with curious instead of a cause
and effect relationship.
C. It has a synonym relationship with curious instead of an antonym
relationship
O D. It has a cause and effect relationship with curious instead of a
part-whole relationship.
Answer:
A. It has an antonym relationship with curious instead of a synonym relationship.
Explanation:
A - It is A because an antonym is the opposite of a word or action being described. Bored is the opposite of curiosity. While the previous analogy (smart: clever), reflects a synonym relationship
B - The following is not B because the definition of a part-whole relationship is the representation of a part of something to a whole of something. For example, fin is to fish as wing is to bird. In the example, curiosity and boredom are both emotions but are not however a part of each other.
C - It is not C because an antonym is not used in the analogy from smart to clever, neither is curiousity and boredom a direct relationship to a synonym, which means to words of similar meaning.
D - The following is not D as it does not reflect a cause and effect relationship to boredom, i.e. there is no direct cause of going from curiosity to boredom.

Describe a situation where propaganda might be dangerous? How can propaganda be used for good
A situation where propaganda could be dangerous would be a political leader using propaganda in order to incite violence or dangerous ideas into people's minds. One example of this would be Hitler, as he used propaganda in order to incite violence and the killing of the jews.
Propaganda can be used for good, however, if it is used in order to inspire people to help out their country. An example of this would be WWII, as people used propaganda and posters in order to inspire people to help out the war effort and to help out the soldiers in the fight against Germany. This was beneficial as it gathered more support for soldiers fighting in the war and helped out in the long run.

Write down about the following characters. (one paragraph each) White Dolphin Kara Kara's father Felix Aunt Bev Do correct answer if someone give correct answer I will make you brainly
Answer:
Explanation:
White Dolphin is the second awesome book by Gill Lewis. It is set in a fishing village in Cornwall and a lot of the action takes place on the beach, the cliffs or in the harbour. Many of the people in the community depend on the sea to earn a living.
Kara and her Dad are depressed, upset and confused. Kara's mother, who was a marine biologist and conservationist, disappeared while she was on a research trip, and Kara and her Dad are living with his sister Bev, but Bev is expecting another baby and the house is already overcrowded so Kara and her Dad will have to move out soon.
They have so many debts that they are going to have to sell their beloved boat Moana which is particularly special as Kara's parents restored it together.
They are at war with Dougie Evans and his son Jake who have a grudge against them. Dougie employs a lot of people in his fishing fleet and he wants to get the ban on dredging in the harbour lifted, so that he can make more money easily, but Kara is determined that it should be kept, so that the seabed and all its creatures will not be destroyed.
The white Dolphin plays an important part in the story and it is a precious link with Kara's mother.
This book has lots of things in it that remind me of Sky Hawk, such as the endangered animals, the sick or disabled friend, the rather strange old person that the villagers don't like very much, and the professional environmentalists.
In both books the mean characters change for the better.
There are lots of very strong characters in this book. As well as Kara who was so determined. I liked Miss Pendula who many people think is mad. She lives alone on the cliffs and cares for sick birds.
There is also Felix who achieved amazing things in spite of his disability and Daisy, Kara's cousin who stood up to the bullies who were making fun of Felix even though she is only five.
I admired the Head teacher who was kind and understanding to Kara even though she did something really bad at school.
In the end, Kara achieves something that no adult has been able to do.
Read the book to find out how she does it!
I would recommend this book to anyone from seven to seventy plus , especially if they care about the environment.
