What are constitutional rights?

Constitutional rights can be a prerogative or a duty, a power or a restraint of power, recognized and established by a sovereign state or union of states. Constitutional rights may be expressly stipulated in a national constitution, or they may be inferred from the language of a national constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, meaning that laws that contradict it are considered unconstitutional and invalid.

Usually, any constitution defines the structure, functions, powers, and limits of the national government and the individual freedoms, rights, and obligations which will be protected and enforced when needed by the national authorities. Nowadays, most countries have a written constitution comprising similar or distinct constitutional rights. Other coded sets of laws existed before the first Constitutions were developed having some similar purposes and functions.

Like the United Kingdom's 1215 Magna Carta or the Virginia Bill of Rights of 1776.

As white Americans pushed west, Native Americans suffered loss of land, disease, and forced change. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 created Indian Territory, a place reserved for eastern Native American tribes. Though they lost the case of Cherokee Nation v. Georgia, the Cherokee reached independent status through the Supreme Court case of Worcester v. Georgia. However, a controversial treaty allowed removal to continue. The Trail of Tears was a painful event for the Cherokee people.
Robert Lindneux's Painting Response

**FOREWARNING**

Okay, so I have not done this assignment or any type of work like this, so I am not guaranteeing that my response will be correct. But I tried my best and answer thoughtfully, so hopefully this is a good enough answer. :)

**Actual Response**

Robert Lindneux created this painting to show the struggle the Native Americans had to deal with as they were forced to leave their homelands because of Andrew Jackson's Indian Removal Act. It was meant to express the crowded migration they had to deal with, and the unsanitary, non-idealistic conditions as they headed away from their heritage and homes. If you were to look closely and carefully at the painting, you can tell that Lindneux had exaggerated and purposefully made the faces on the characters in the painting sorrowful and depressed. The conditions were exaggerated as well, notice the people having to walk and carry sacks on their backs, and people crouching over in their cloaks avoiding the sand and dust. The environment is exaggerated as well and in the landscape you can see dark, stormy clouds, meaning a bad/ dark/ depressing mood. Along with a dusty, windy ground that is surely irritating the Natives' eyes.

Hope this helps. Have a good day and good luck! :)

Which of the following best compares how environmental conditions in Brazilian coffee plantations and American tobacco plantations contributed to migration patterns?

Brazilian and American plantations in tropical regions discouraged the growth of food crops and limited the numbers of laborers who migrated there.
Both regions required the importation of immense numbers of laborers to produce in-demand cash crops that could only be grown in warm-weather climates.
Depleted soil conditions caused both regions to shift from cash-crop production to subsistence agriculture, decreasing the number of workers moving to the respective areas.
Laborers from outside the respective areas were encouraged to immigrate to help produce additional food crops in hopes of maximizing economic production prior to colonizing new territories with richer soil.
