Hester endures scorn while standing on the scaffold.
Explanation:
Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter tells the story of an adulterous woman named Hester Prynne and the punishment inflicted on her and her 'fatherless' baby. The whole plot of the story deals with punishment and the sin that led to her 'humiliating' treatment and the sin that led to all these.
Chapter 2 shows the market scene where lots of people have gathered, including the womenfolk, to see the release of the adulterer Hester Prynne and her infant daughter Pearl. She also endures the scornful look of those gathered, while also showing to the world the "the letter A [which] was so artistically done".

Hi guys, please help me! ! I just need an introduction for this topic..
I will completely agree and I have the points for it, but I couldn't write an introduction :(
(*Today computers have made people more addicted to it. People spend a lot of time using it for entertainment and this is affecting their health*.To what extent do you agree or disagree with the above statement?)
Answer:
I have always incorporated the question into the introduction. So you can begin with "It is said that Today computers have made people more addicted to it. Answer:
28/ june / 2020 ,sunday 10:00 pm
Dear diary,
Guess what I saved a life today!!! When I was relaxing with my family on the beach I saw a child drowning!! I could not see any lifeguards around that's why I took up the responsibility to save him. I took the nearby floats and went in the water. It was not a very deep but still he could not swim outside so had to drag him out. Luckily he had not fainted. He did consume a bit of salty water but he was fine. As soon as people saw him lying everyone came trying to see if he was alright. After the boy settled everyone was praising me !!! After all I had saved a life!!! The parents of the boy came running and started thanking me with all their heart. I said I was more than happy to help but they insisted on giving me a gift!!! My family had dinner with them and later guess what they got me ?!? A brand new movie projector!! They said that they heard me telling my parents my wish for a home movie projector and that's why they got me the best one!!! It was the best day because I felt proud of my swimming and fast thinking skills and saving someone!!! I am really tired after this long day!! See ya later!
HOPE IT HELPS :)
PLEASE MARK IT THE BRAINLIEST!!!

Answer:
A . He would disagree, pointing out that automated systems still lack the ability to do many of the things that human employees are capable of doing.
Explanation:
In the experts’ debate on the topic "Will Computers Edge People Out Of Entire Careers?", the author David Kestenbaum presents the various opinions of experts on how robots had overtaken the employment world of humans. One of these experts is David Autor, an economics professor and associate head of the Department of Economics at MIT.
According to Autor, contrary to the popular belief that computers and software will replace the job opportunity of people, it will rather lead to more jobs. He disagreed with the notion that robots will replace the majority of human workers. Rather, he opines that they still lack the ability to do many of the things that humans are capable of doing.

Which best describes the author’s purpose in including this anecdote for Black Boy
Answer:
- To clarify Wright's father's attitude, personality, and values.
Explanation:
The most appropriate description of the author's purpose behind including the anecdote i.e. 'finally I heard.....from him' in Black Boy is that the author wishes 'to clarify Wright's father's attitude, personality, and values' to the readers. This assists the author to reveal to the readers that Wright's father was an irresponsible and reckless man with no values who had left his mother deserted to 'raise the children and forcefully tries to get physical with her.' It gives the readers a perspective about his father's imprudent character and understand the difficulties faced by his mother(staying hungry but still working to raise the children alone).
