Humty Dumpty is nersury rhyme i need to change it to a story help me plz
Answer:
Lets see if I can help
Explanation:
I did it for a dare. My friends said that if I could sneak in to the orphanage, and steal the warden's shoes, they would let me in their group. I had no friends, being an egg and all, so I agreed. I had just managed to get into the warden's bedroom, when she had burst through the door and caught me.
So, then, I was running for my life while this angry lady was chasing after me. I saw an old mossy stone wall, and made a run for it. I grabbed to a ledge, and climbed up until I was ten feet in the air, looking down at the crowd of people below me.
The warden was still angry at me, and was shouting something that sounded like, "king's men", but I didn't care. It was rather peacfull up here, and I decided to stay for a while. Soon, the warden and all the other people scattered, and I was alone, watching a flock of geese fly over me.
Suddenly, I noticed one of the geese were flying low. Way to low, and before I could move out of the way, it had smacked me in the face, and I fell with a smash on the ground.
It was all a blur. I could see my yolk covering the ground, and I couldn't feel the lower half of my body. The last thing I saw was a bunch of soldiers on horses galloping towards me. Then, it all went black.

The writer wants to add an anecdote to the first paragraph that orients the reader to the argument of the passage. Which of the following choices best accomplishes this goal?
A. An account of the writer’s first trip to the college bookstore, where the writer discovered how expensive textbooks are
B. An explanation of the difficulties the writer encountered when trying to download e‑books from the college library's online system
C. A reminiscence about an English literature professor whom the writer found to be especially demanding
D. A story about reading an English novel with an e-reader and then being unable to recall major elements of the plot
E. A recollection of the difficulty the writer faced when trying to decide on a college major
Answer:
D. A story about reading an English novel with an e-reader and then being unable to recall major elements of the plot
Explanation:
Correct. The introduction can orient the reader to the argument of the passage with an anecdote about reading a novel with an e-reader and being unable to recall major elements of the plot. Such a story would support the writer’s position that print books aid in the in-depth reading of texts better than e-readers do.
An anecdote is a brief, revealing account of an individual person or an incident: "a story with a point," such as to communicate an abstract idea about a person, place, or thing through the concrete details of a short narrative. The correct option is D:-A story about reading an English novel with an e-reader and then being unable to recall major elements of the plot

Choose one of the text features that could aid readers in understanding your research paper. Which one is it and how
would it aid in comprehension of your material?
Hello. You did not enter the article to which the question refers, which makes it impossible for the question to be answered accurately. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.
A literary resource that can help readers understand your article in a powerful way is the resource known as SOAPStone.
SOAPStone is an acronym for Speaker, Occasion, Audience, Purpose, Subject, and Tone. This feature allows each of these factors to be analyzed individually, giving a comprehensive view of each and allowing the reader to have a complete interpretation of the article.
If your article was a scientific article, SOAPSTone is not a relevant resource for readers. In this case, it is necessary for readers to invest in the interpretation of graphs and tables.

It would be C
A, "Teachers, not students, should be in charge of assigned seating in the cafeteria." would be a hypocritical statement to the author's claim. So, its not
B also isn't correct because the author's claim never mentions about the flaws of the club. So that statement is pointless.
And D. That defeats the purpose. The author claim is the opposite and the statement would be no good.

We raised corn and pumpkins, and hay for the horse and cows. The corn was gathered into the barn across the road, and a husking-bee gave occasion for mild merrymaking. As necessity arose the dried ears were shelled and the kernels taken to the mill, where an honest portion was taken for grist. The corn-meal bin was the source of supply for all demands for breakfast cereal Hasty-pudding never palled. Small incomes sufficed. Our own bacon, pork, spare-rib, and souse, our own butter, eggs, and vegetables, with occasional poultry, made us little dependent on others. One of the great-uncles was a sportsman, and snared rabbits and pickerel, thus extending our bill of fare. Bread and pies came from the weekly baking, to say nothing of beans and codfish. Berries from the pasture and nuts from the woods were plentiful. For lights we were dependent on tallow candles or whale-oil, and soap was mostly home-made. The information in paragraph 3 suggests that the author and his family came from out West. B) valued independence. valued material items. D) had little business experience.
