However, administrators must ask if cell phones will really cause more good than harm. With access to cell phones, students could have access to homework and test answers during school, the ability to log in to social media sites using their data plan, and decreased productivity with their attention given to the phones instead of schoolwork. Although access to cell phones in school could be the best thing for students in helping them succeed, cell phones could also be the worst thing for student success and focus. However, careful consideration must be given to both sides before consenting to either option because cell phones could be the best or worst thing for the kids, but a hasty decision would lead to disaster for our kids and our schools.
