As for the setting of the story, it was fluid, making it very a pleasant reading experience. The plot was fairly well structured, so much that when I completed one chapter I ". . planned to read another." The final quote in the The Incident of the Letter : "Henry Jekyll foraged for a murder and his blood ran cold" (pg37). This quote contains a certain suspenseful tone that makes me wish there was more to the story after that. That final line made me appreciate both the plot and the setting for what it was. Throughout the story, we are given little hints that are completely unexpected; and it keeps the reader on the edge of their seat the entire time. What surprised me the most was when Landon retold his own side of the situation in the letter, because I suspected Hyde drank the potion in front of Landon. Instead Landon discovered Jekyll's secret without him wanting to. This was a fantastic plot twist the author threw at me.

I looked this question up online and found that is has more sentences to be completed. Just in case you need them too, I will answer them.

Complete the sentences with the affirmative or negative forms of the verbs in brackets.

1. I ______ usually _______ (have) a snack between lunch and dinner.

2. She always _______ (have) a bath. She doesn't have a shower.

3. We finish school at 1 p.m. We _______ (go) to school in the afternoon.

4. They do a lot of exercise, but they ________ (play) football.

5. He ______ (wash) his hair every morning, and he always brushes it, too.

6. You've got terrible teeth because you _________ (brush) them!

Answer:

1. I don't usually have a snack between lunch and dinner.

2. She always has a bath...

3. ... We don't go to school in the afternoon.

4. ... but they don't play football.

5. He washes his hair every morning...

6. ... because you don't brush them!

Explanation:

The sentences above use the verb in the simple present tense. Here are the basic rules:

- Persons "I, you, we, they":

affirmative form --> the same as the infinitive of the verb without "to". For example: to eat - I eat - you eat - we eat - they eat.negative form --> we place the auxiliary "don't" before the main verb: I don't eat.

- Persons "he, she, it":

affirmative form --> we add -s, -es, or -ies to the verb. Example: he eats / she studies / it watches.negative form --> we place the auxiliary "doesn't" before the verb. The main verb goes back to the infinitive form. Example: She doesn't study.

Note: The verb "to have" changes a bit more in the third person: I have --> she has.

what are the things to consider in judging an idea as relevant and worthy?

Answers

Answer:

This is kinda tricky, but I'll try...

Explanation:

When judging an idea, it's most important to visualize how effective that idea would be in helping you achieve whatever goal you want to achieve.

It would be considered worthy if it satisfied whatever problem you had or if it provided a certain solution you were looking for.

In general, you judge whether it gets the job done, with good efficiency, whether it fulfills the needed task and even if it's worth the thought. Hope that's helped, sorry if it didn't. ♥

Answers

Answer:

A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself” (Campbell 1). When we think of heroes most of us think of movie stars or professional athletes, but it’s not always about your popularity or talent it can also be about how you help society. What I think make a great hero is someone who is able to overcome his or her obstacles in life, is highly motivated, and has plenty of bravery.

In order to be a successful hero you must be a highly motivated person. Without motivation you would not be very successful because you would have no ambition to try and make a difference in the world. I think Rodney Dangerfield is a great example of this because he started he career at just 15 and he died while he was in the middle of a movie. Also when his wife tried to make him quit he just blew their many years of happiness and divorced her. In one of his quotes he stated, “At twenty a man is full of fight and hope. He wants to reform the world. When he’s seventy he still wants to reform the world” (Dangerfield 3).

Another person that is consider a hero is Martin Luther King JR. He was a civil rights activist, Baptist minister, leader, fighter, and humanitarian. Mr. King fought for what was right and never gave up. H e used nonviolent approaches to get his point across and acted respectfully. Martin also was very brave to stand up for African-American citizens during a time which segregation and racism. Due to his courageous actions he was rewarded with the Nobel Peace Prize and other awards. Through his actions and beliefs many people looks to him as a leader and hero.

Bravery is a great trait for a hero to posses. I think bravery is a key quality because you don’t always know what lies ahead of you and you have to be brave to continue. A good example of this is Charles Lindburgh. He was the first person to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. I believe that took a great amount of bravery because no one had ever made it across, so he didn’t know what lie ahead of him. One of his many good quotes he said, “The most effective way to do it, is to just do it”, (Lindburgh 1).

In conclusion, Heroes comes in various shapes, colors, sizes, and has different qualities. There are people who are recognized as heroes because they have courage and they care enough for others to risk their lives. Or they are noticed as a hero because they have to be quick on their toes and care to the patients every need. Though, these made be some heroic people who make us safe in our day to day lives.

How did a 550 percent growth in demand for data centers affect their energy use?

Answers

Answer: (B) It caused their energy use to grow only about 6 percent.

Explanation:

A research into the energy usage of Data centers was released in 2020 and showed that even though there has been a 550% growth in the demand for data centers, the energy needed to power them has only grown by 6%.

According to the scientists who conducted the research, the reason for this is that the data centers have a relatively high efficiency rate when it comes to energy usage such that data centers use only around 1% of the world's electricity.
