Narrative Writing: Removing Irrelevant Details paragraph below has one sentence that is not relevant to the narrative. Cross out that sentence to strengthen the paragraph.Last Saturday was a perfect day. My cousins Reid and Bella came to visit. We decided to go to the park for a picnic. The sun shone brightly and sparkled on the water as we laid out a colorful blanket near the lake. We told jokes and laughed as we ate our lunch under the shade of the trees. My favorite sandwich is grilled cheese, but we didn't bring any of those. After lunch, Reid took out his new dragon-shaped kite, and we watched as it rose into the sky and danced among the clouds. As we watched the kite fly higher and higher, we all agreed that this was the best day ever!

Do you think people face internal conflict or external conflict more often in their daily lives. Write an argumentative essay for which you think we face more in our daily lives,
Answer:
In fiction, ‘internal conflict’ refers to a character’s internal struggle. A character might struggle with an emotional problem such as fear of intimacy or abandonment, for example. Internal conflict is important for characterization, since flaws and internal struggles make characters more lifelike and sympathetic.
External conflict, on the other hand, refers to the conflicts between a character and external forces. This type of conflict can be between one character and another or a group (or between groups of characters). It can also be between a character and more abstract forces. For example, a bleak and hostile environment in a post-apocalyptic novel.
Both types of conflict, internal and external, are useful because they create:
Tension: Because of conflict’s uncertainty, we want to know how it resolves and keep turning pages to find out
Stakes: Conflict suggests worst-case outcomes and makes resolution urgent (the hero must overcome the antagonist/environment or themselves ‘or else…’)
Character development: Conflict allows for dramatic incidents and confrontations that test characters and cause them to learn and adapt
So how do you use external and internal conflict to develop characters

Answer:
The correct answer is A)
Explanation:
In a study that tried to elicit the correlation between Violence in Video Games and Violence in real behavior, Joseph Hilgard and 4 of his colleagues carried out an experiment involving 275 males (all undergraduates) using a specific type of gaming whose violence levels could be adjusted from hard to easy or very violent to mildly violent.
Students were randomly assigned to play the game. No one person played both categories.
After the game, the students were incited by confederates and were allowed in such as way that they were allowed to express themselves violently or otherwise.
Joseph and his team came to the realization that their research didn't extablish a relationship between playing a violent game and being violent in real life.
One of the limitations of the research that were cited as a possible reason for enervated the researchers from reaching a very boisterous conclusion is that brief exposure under a controlled environment may not be sufficient to trigger violent behavior in the test subjects.

I HAVE AN ESSAY DUE AND MY TEACHER WANTS 5 PARAGRAPHS I NEED HELP
"Write a research-based argumentative essay for or against health care for everyone."
Answer:
research it yourself
Explanation:
health care for everyone has never worked. for one it would cost millions of tax dollars and even though it would have some benefits most of the tax dollars that they say they need to use for health care will be wasted. you may say but everyone will have health care and be taken care of. Well, who would decide who gets the health care is only citizens and legal immigrants, or do illegal immigrants get the benefits even though do not pay taxes for it.
Would it be nice if everyone had health care yes but who pays for it? some people can not afford to pay taxes as it is sometimes it is. the other side might say well that's not their fault so the richer people can just pay more taxes to help the poorer people out. Well, not all poor people are poor. After all, they have no way to make money many people are poor because they are into drugs or they just like the government giving them ( keep in mind some poor people do have problems and need financial aid). So when doing the taxes that pay for everyone's health care how do we decide who needs help financially to make the taxes and who is just lazy.
h Now back to an earlier statement why don't the rich people just pay more taxes to help out the poor people? Well first off people do not like taxes and charging them more because they are rich is wrong. what some people do not realize is that rich people worked hard to be rich you do not get rich by just sitting on the couch all day. Plus it would be a lot more beneficial if instead of just making the rich pay more taxes you could ask them if they are willing to give any jobs to the poor people. Now others might say well but then how do you get enough jobs for poor people. well usually us has about 4 percent of them that do not have jobs and there are millions of jobs all over us and you do not need a college degree for a lot of them.
Another reason that the national health care plan would be bad is that as of right now because of coronavirus 47 percent of America is unemployed so how will that 47 percent pay taxes? others might say they could up the taxes on the other 53 percent but just because they have a job does not mean they are financially stable. A better way to do this would get a website going where people can donate to the poor to help with taxes studies to show that people are more willing to donate things than to be forced to give things.
so in conclusion, if you get a national health care plan then it will raise taxes on everyone especially the rich and not everyone can afford more taxes. More taxes in America means more controversy in the world. SO health care is good but there is a better way than for the government to give everyone a health care plan.

Literary devices used:
ImagerySymbolismPoint of viewOxymoronHyperboleExplanation:
The poem uses imagery because the author is very descriptive when describing the kind of man this women needs, the poem uses symbolism throughout the poem to describe the women's nationality. The poem uses point of view in third person because it has a narrator, the poem uses oxymoron because at first you would think the women is happy but then turns out to be sad and needing love and affection. Then finally hyperbole which is when the author uses exaggerated phrases which when he said he would walk through lightning.
