I tend to draw slightly upturned eyes because of my art style and I heard that it can be upsetting to some people because it looks like I’m making fun of Asian eyes but I’m not. I never intended to harm anyone and I have no clue if it is a problem or not. Pls help

Answers

Answer 1
Personally, I don’t think it’s upsetting since it’s your art style. Some people may like it or not :)
Answer 2

Answer:

Well if it's part of the style then it's fine. I am Asian and personally I don't mind that kind of stuff, but if you yourself feel that it's bad, then you can change it. As long as there is no racist intent then it's fine.

Gustave Courbet was a French painter associated with which movement?
O A. Impressionism
O B. Realism
O C. Romanticism
O D. Post-Impressionism

Answers

The answer is b
Realism

A French realist painter, Gustave Courbet, was born in 1830. So, option (B) is the proper answer.

What do you know about Gustave Courbet?

Eléonor-Régis and Sylvie Courbet's son Courbet was born in eastern France; he was a successful farmer. He first proceeded to Besançon to study at the Collège Royal and then the faculty of fine arts before traveling to Paris in 1841, purportedly to pursue a legal education.

To study the masters' paintings in the Louvre, however, he committed himself more seriously. The father and son had a great deal of respect for one another, and when Courbet informed his father that he wanted to become a painter rather than a local lawyer, his father agreed, saying,

"If anyone gives up, it will be you, not me," and adding that, if necessary, he would sell his land, vineyards, and even his homes to help his son.

Young Courbet was able to dedicate himself since he was free from any financial stress.
