how many different passwords are there that contain only digits and lower-case letters and satisfy the given restrictions? 1) length is 1010.

Answers

Answer 1

There are 36^10 ways  that contain only digits and lower-case letters and having the length is 10.

What is password?

A password, also known as a passcode, is private information that typically consists of a string of characters and is used to verify a user's identity.

We have to find the number of ways that contain only digits and lower-case letters and having the length is 10.

Since, there are total 10 digits from '0 to 9' and 26 lower case letters from

'a to z'.

The 10 slots in the password can be anything - digits as lower case letters.

that is,

10 + 26 = 36 options for each slot.

So, the total number of ways are, 36^10.

Hence, there are 36^10 ways  that contain only digits and lower-case letters and having the length is 10.

The value of c that will make the expression x² + 24x + c  a perfect trinomial is 144.

The perfect squared trinomial as a perfect binomial is (x + 12)²

How to find the value of c in the expression?

An expression obtained from the square of the binomial equation is a perfect square trinomial.

In other words, perfect square trinomials are algebraic expressions with three terms that are obtained by multiplying a binomial with the same binomial.

If a trinomial is in the form ax² + bx + c is said to be a perfect square, if and only if it satisfies the condition b² = 4ac.

Therefore,

x² + 24x + c

where

a = 1b = 24c  = ?

Therefore,

b² = 4ac

24² = 4 × 1 × c

4c = 576

divide both sides by 4

c = 576 / 4

c = 144

Therefore,

c = 144

The perfect squared trinomial as a perfect binomial is as follows:

The largest integer that is a divisor of (n + 1)(n + 3)(n + 5)(n + 7)(n + 9)  for all positive even integers is 15

The correct answer is an option (d)

In this question, we need to find the largest integer that is a divisor of (n + 1)(n + 3)(n + 5)(n + 7)(n + 9)  for all positive even integers n.

We can observe that (n + 1), (n + 3), (n + 5), (n + 7) and (n + 9)  are 5 consecutive odd integers

In every 5 consecutive odd positive integers, one of them is always divisible by 3 and one of them is always divisible by 5.

This means, (n + 1)(n + 3)(n + 5)(n + 7)(n + 9) will be divisible by both 3 and 5

i.e., (n + 1)(n + 3)(n + 5)(n + 7)(n + 9) will also divisible by 15 (3 * 5 = 15)

Let us consider M be the age of the mother and S be the age of the son

which implies that,

and in 6 years, mother will be 5 times as old as her son

i.e. M + 6 = 5(S + 6)

M = 5S + 24 ------------- (2)

Write an equation in point-slope form of the line that passes through the given point and with the given slope (-7,2); m =7

Answers

Answer:

Y = 7x + 51

Step-by-step explanation:

Point-slope form is in this form: y = mx + b where b is the y-intercept and m is the slope. We have the slope, and we already have a point that must be on the line. The only thing we need is the y-intercept, so we can plug in the given point and the slope to solve for b.

Plug in (-7, 2) for x and y and the slope(7) for m. This gives: [tex]2 = 7*-7 + b[/tex], or [tex]2 = -49 + b[/tex]. Now add 49 to both sides to isolate x, and we get that [tex]b = 51[/tex]. At a confidence interval of 95%, if a polling result states that a president has an approval rating of 55%, the value of a margin of error of x is 1.534%.

In the given question, at a confidence interval of 95%, if a polling result states that a president has an approval rating of 55%, with a margin of error of x, then we have to explain how should we interpret that.

The given confidence interval = 95%.

We can write it as CI = 0.95.

An approval rating is 55%.

We can write it as(p) = 0.55

A margin of error is x.

Let the value of sample size n = 1000.

So the margin of error;

ME = z× {p(1-p)}/√n

The value of z for confidence interval of 95% is 1.96.

Now putting the value

x = 1.96× {0.55(1-0.55)}/√1000

x = 1.96× {0.55×0.45}/31.623

x = 1.96× 0.2475/31.623

x = 1.96×0.00783

x = 0.01534

x = 1.534%

What is the Lateral Surface Area of a Cylinder?

The lateral surface area of a cylinder = 2πrh, where h is the height, r is the radius of the cylinder.

Given the following:

Height of the cylinder (h) = 24 yardsDiameter = 3 yardsRadius (r) = 1/2(diameter) = 1/2(3) = 1.5 yards

Lateral surface area of the cylinder = 2 × π × 1.5 × 24 = 226.19 yards²

Area of the top = area of circle = πr² = π(1.5²) = 7.07 yards²

Area to be painted = 226.19 + 7.07 = 233.26 yards²

Convert square yards to square feet:

(KEEP IN MIND THIS IS UNFINISHED AND NEEDS POLISHED)Cultural Expectations in The Sleeper and the Spindle In The Sleeper and the Spindle by Neil Gaiman, the story illustrates cultural expectations and values that are displayed in our society, as well as other societies. Even though they are fiction, fairy tales like The Sleeper and the Spindle, by Neil Gaiman, often reflect the cultural expectations and values of the time and place they were created in. Neil Gaimans fairy tale, The Sleeper and the Spindle, focuses on a queen who is determined to save her kingdom, even if it means facing a curse that had once been bestowed onto her (Gaiman 52). Gaiman uses well known elements of classic fairy tales, such as a curse (Gaiman 18), the damsel in distress (Gaiman 33), and the expected heroic quest (Gaiman 66). Gaiman subverts these classic fairy tale elements to create a story that is unique, and a story that challenges known cultural expectations and elements. The queen represents many women in past, and present societies. She wondered how she would feel to be a married woman. It would be the end of her life, she decided, (Gaiman 14). The queen, like many other women in different cultures and societies, wants nothing to do with her predetermined, and unconsenting future as a married woman. You do know were heading east, dont you? said one of the drawfs. Oh yes, said the queen. (Gaiman 66). The queen chooses adventure and her friends over a traditional married life that is represented and seen in many well-known fairy tales. Neil Gaiman challenges traditional gender roles by having the queen reflect heroic characteristics, be the one who defeats the villain, and the one who saves her kingdom (Gaiman 66). Fairy tales are often seen reflecting and illustrating the cultural expectations and values of many societies. In some cases, those cultural expectations and values are still relevant, and can still be seen today. The Sleeper and the Spindle, by Neil Gaiman is one of many different variations of Cinderella, originally written by Charles Perrault, which challenges many cultural expectations and values. Neil Gaimans fairy tale reflects cultural values such as feminism, independence, and kindness. These values however, are not as prevalent in the original Cinderella story, or any fairy tale with a female protagonist in the story. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!! Juan runs out of gas in a city.
