How do you think new proteins affect the fitness of children?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

it affects ALOT!

Explanation:

Although health initiatives promote increased physical activity in children, the physiologic outcomes have not been well characterized. This investigation examined the effects of programmed aerobic exercise on protein metabolism in children (n = 7; mean ± SEM: 9.14 ± 0.46 y old; weight, 32.1 ± 1.6 kg; height, 138 ± 2.5 cm; and body mass index, 16.21 ± 0.36 kg/m2 ) using 15N-glycine methodology. Boys (n = 5) and girls (n = 2) walked (5 d/wk, 3.2–6.4 km/d) for 6 wk. Criterion measures taken at baseline (Pre) and after the exercise program (Post) included anthropometric data, dietary assessment, nitrogen balance, nitrogen flux (Q), protein synthesis (PS), protein breakdown (PB) and net protein balance [(Net) = PS − PB]. After the walking program, there were no significant changes in body weight, fat-free mass or percentage of body fat, whereas height increased (P < 0.01). Energy and protein intakes were constant throughout the study. Nitrogen balance was significantly more positive Post than Pre (P < 0.05). There was a significant decrease in Q (P < 0.0001) with corresponding decreases in PS (P < 0.001) and PB (P < 0.01). These data provide the first evidence that programmed aerobic exercise alters whole-body protein utilization in healthy, nonobese children. Longitudinal studies are required to further examine changes in protein metabolism associated with increased physical activity in this population. In addition, findings suggest a need to evaluate nutrient requirements for healthy, physically active boys and girls.

Answer 2

New proteins affect the fitness of children by; increasing fitness

Proteins as bodybuilding foods

Proteins as food nutrient precursors function to build the tissues of the body and hence, are necessary for fitness.

The fitness of children is increased by the consumption of new proteins.

On this note, we can conclude that proteins affect the fitness of children by increasing the fitness of children.

How do both sodium and potassium ions travel

Answers

Answer:

Sodium ions pass through channels in the hydrophobic barrier that have been formed by membrane proteins. The crossing membrane is called facilitated diffusion because it is facilitated by the channel

Potassium ions have to be transocated through specific membrane transport proteins. It is then transported into the cell through potassium pumps with energy being consumed int the form of ATP.

The sodium-potassium pump goes through cycles of shape changes to help maintain a negative membrane potential. In each cycle, three sodium ions exit the cell, while two potassium ions enter the cell. These ions travel against the concentration gradient, so this process requires ATP.

When you did some experiments and picked out a bunch of random stumpy-tailed cats and mated them, they had some stumpy-tailed kittens and some regular-tailed kittens. You did the same with the the regular tailed cats, but they always had only regular tailed kittens. What does this tell you about the genotype of the regular tailed cats

Does DNA undergoes translation to produce proteins . RNA undergoes mutation to produce cell walls

Answers

Answer:

No

2. Yes

Explanation:

This is because DNA undergo transcription to produce RNA and RNA undergo translation to produce protein. Translation is the process where mRNA molecule is used as a template to produce protein.

RNA undergo mutation more than DNA and this is because the enzymes found in RNA viruses and participate in copying viral genomes is why it occur so. These enzymes does not have the abilities to recognize DNA damage that enzymes in most organisms have.

However, trying to help you, we did some deep search and can comment on the following.

The additional information you would want to know to understand Emma and Jacob's panic is the following.

First, you want to understand what is the real cause of the parent's panic. And all comes down to the health of their baby. The baby had problems with feeding. What happened was that Emma's baby stopped feeding after seven days.

This couple had lost a baby that died in the first nine days with no clear explanations at all. So they were traumatized by that fact and do not want to have another traumatic experience again. That is why they are afraid.

The parents desire the baby to feed normally and have the correct weight.

Parents are afraid that the baby dies or if it survives, could end up with some illness or mental ret*rdation, or could have another kind of complications when the baby is growing up.

The stars appear to move across the sky every day, but
their paths change throughout the year. Here is a model of
the Sun-Earth system.
Based on the model, which three factors might cause this change in the
apparent movements of the stars?

Answers

Answer:

Earth's Revolution around the sun, The tilt of Earth's Axis, and Earth's rotation on its axis.

Explanation:

I have done this test

1. The Earth's revolution around the Sun: As the Earth revolves around the Sun, the stars appear to move across the sky each day. This is because the Earth is rotating on its axis, which causes the stars to appear to be moving from east to west.

2. The Earth's tilt: The tilt of the Earth's axis also has an effect on the apparent movement of the stars. As the Earth rotates around the Sun, the tilt of the Earth's axis changes throughout the year. This causes the stars to appear to move slightly differently at different times of the year.

3. The Precession of the Equinoxes: The precession of the equinoxes is the gradual wobble of the Earth's axis which takes place over thousands of years. This has an effect on the apparent movement of the stars, as the angle of the Earth's axis changes over time. This causes the stars to appear to move in a slightly different pattern than they did thousands of years ago.
