Psychological studies focus on predicting and anticipate how a certain behavior will appear again in the future by analyzing past observed behavior.

Psychologists conduct research in a systematic manner to eliminate subjectivity and ensure consistency across studies.

Objectivity is a characteristic of science, and when something is objective, it is unaffected by the researcher's personal feelings and experiences.

What has been your experience with the healthcare system? Describe your positive or negative experience.

Answers

My personal experience has been okay! Sometimes that can change due to my different situations that involve having to communicate with the healthcare system/staff. The healthcare system tries their hardest but some don’t. Some doctors just guess your diagnosis just to get you out of the hospital, mainly to get paid. Some do wrong diagnosis due to them being tired or careless, with good research it can be proven. My negative experience was terrible. Technically, it wasn’t “MY” experience it was a family members but I was there as a witness. My aunt went in because she was sick and she had pain near her appendix. The doctor said nothing was wrong with her appendix and that she may just have a bug. Scans, test, everything was done turned out the doctor sent my aunt home with “flu” meds. Took my aunt throwing up all of her body weight to go back to another hospital because we all knew something was wrong. She went to another hospital and turns out her appendix burst and she nearly could’ve died. Therefore, the healthcare system is great and all but some doctors or healthcare workers can be very careless.

(THIS IS NOT A TRUE STORY NO SYMPATHY NEEDED HERE LOL)
I have very easy and free access to hospitals and medicines, due to the country I live in. Witch makes it a lot easier for me, to visit the doctor whenever I need to. And that’s a big problem in many country’s, because it cost a lot of money to visit the doctor or go to the hospital. And that’s one of the reasons i think there is a tendency of higher death rates. Because many can’t afford it.

Do you think AIDS/HIV is a global health crisis? Why or why not? Why do you think more progress hasn’t been made on curing this disease?

Answers

Answer:

I believe it is, because it still holds a lot of mortality rate.

Explanation:

I think because of the lack of proper education about using barrier methods, especially for the teenagers and well, the peer pressure society sometimes hold to people to be desperate to engage in unsafe intercourse with anyone without having proper protection methods is one thing that heavily contributes to the remaining HIV issue.

The second comes on the own infected person's decisions. Some just don't care and still engage, endangering others, or could be unaware they carry the disease and then complications  come along the way that can become permanent.

Do you think euthanasia should be legal? Why or why not?

Answers

Answer:  yes

Explanation: The euthanasia debate is really the backdrop for a discussion within our society about the very nature of human life and meaning. Because the origin of life is in God, human beings do not have dominion over life but are stewards of life.

The powerful combination of sanctity and stewardship is expressed in the foundational ethical principle. This principle says that no person has the right to directly take innocent human life and in fact there is a positive obligation to nurture and protect life.

In our secular society there is a need to develop a "natural" metaphysic of sacredness. Such a metaphysic can serve as bedrock from which a foundational principle can be developed and then applied in concrete moral norms. It can show that life contributes to the full dignity of the human person. For this perspective to be effective in countering the movement to legalize euthanasia, this sense of integral wholeness of human personhood must be demonstrated in a convincing manner. It can be because a dualistic philosophical bias has been found wanting by Western culture.

We must arrive at what ethicists would call concrete norms that guide individual choices. At issue is how we translate our foundational principle—Do not directly attack innocent human life—into a concrete norm when confronted with the possibility of death.

Some persons question whether the concrete norm opposing euthanasia should be a matter of public morality. To answer this question, we must turn to our foundational principle. As a society, we must ask ourselves, How "sacred" is life? Will that natural sense of awe about life, that natural desire not to be vulnerable, be enhanced or threatened by making euthanasia legal?

Euthanasia has become the ethical issue of the 1990s and the focus of some of our most controversial public policy questions. I oppose the legalization of euthanasia. But we must do more than simply disagree with its proponents. It is possible, using the belief structures of the Judeo-Christian tradition and other reflections, to develop a persuasive understanding of human life that can serve as the foundation for an ethic that would oppose the legalization of euthanasia.

For years, Blake has suffered from a list of unrelated symptoms. He started experiencing erectile dysfunction in his early twenties, followed by repeated bouts of chest pain. Shortly after this, he began having weekly episodes of diarrhea. Most recently, double-blindness has been added to his list of ailments. Blake has gone from doctor to doctor, and none of them have ever found a physical cause for his illnesses. His newest doctor thinks he might suffer from Briquet's syndrome, which is also known as _____ pattern.

Answers

Answer: somatization

Explanation:

Paul Briquet first described Briquet's syndrome in 1859, and he stares that it occurs when patients have the feeling that for a larger part of their lives, they've been sick and then complain about different symptoms related to different parts of their body system.
