Answer and Explanation:
This question is about "What is Horror Genre?"
The reader can see that the author reinforces the idea that horror is a genre with many layers and a diversity of elements. Thus, the horros can be defined in several ways, because it is formed in several ways, and can present elements, physical, supernatural, scientific, utopic, dystopic, fantasy, real, among others.
This becomes clearer when the author affirms that horror stories do not deal only with events about natural and parallel to our reality.

Which statement about this Situation is implicit?
Answer:
A, The puppy is hungry.
Explanation:
Implicit:
adjective
- implied though not plainly expressed.
You can tell by the situation that the implied piece of the story is that the puppy is hungry. First, the story outright tells you that the owner is cooking dinner, therefore it is not implied but told directly. Next, the story also tells the reader the the puppy has brown eyes - meaning again that it has been outright told and not implied. Lastly, the story says the the owner is in the kitchen, so D is not an implicit statement.
The story never says outright that the puppy is hungry, but you can tell that he is by the way his tail wags at the sight of food.

Q.1. Your school recently went on a visit to explore some underground caves. Here are some
comments from students about the trip.
16
We loved exploring a place that so few people had seen before
The caves were too dark and silent
Write a report for the headteacher giving your views on the visit. These comments may give
you some ideas but try to use some ideas of your own.
Write 150-200 words,
Answer and Explanation:
Feel free to change and adapt anything:
I found the visit to the underground caves breathtaking. It was truly scary at first, especially knowing the place hasn't been much explored before. But we had a knowledgeable guide and safety equipment, so the excitement soon replaced the fear. The caves were bigger than I expected, and so silent that we could hear our own breaths and heartbeats. We needed flashlights to be able to look around, and the guide warned us there might be a few bats in at least one of the caverns. We also got to see some stalactites. As we kept on going, we reached a larger cave that had a sort of skylight - an opening on its ceiling that allowed light to flow in. We were able to turn our flashlights off at this point we simply enjoy the natural spectacle. I had a lot of fun. This was an unforgettable experience for me.

Answer:
1. George roared like a lion. - simile
2. He was a bear of a man. - metaphor
3. The line grouping in which a poem may be written - stanza
4. He slept through the winter long and cold, All tightly up in his blanket rolled. - rhyme
5. The bong of a bell rang softly. - imitation of sounds
6. When a poem has a beat made by stressed syllables - rhythm
7. The flight of the bird stood for the freedom now felt. - symbolism
8. The walls screamed with loneliness. - personification
9. When a poem has a rhythmical pattern that is not completely regular - cadence
Explanation:
Simile and metaphor are figures of speech used for comparison. The difference between them is that a simile will rely on words such as "as" or "like", while a metaphor will not. Metaphors simply state "A is B", while similes state "A is like B."
A stanza, or verse, is a group of lines in a poem.
A rhyme is a repetition of sounds in the final words of different lines in a poem. In the case we are analyzing here, the words "cold" and "rolled" rhyme with each other.
Some words we use originate from the imitation of sounds produced by animals or objects. The word "bong" in the sentence imitates the sound a bell produces.
In a poem, rhythm is determined by a pattern of stressed and unstressed syllables. When such a pattern does not exist, we speak of cadence.
Symbolism uses something to represent something else, usually something simple or small to represent something bigger and more important. An example is a national flag, often associated with ideas of independence and freedom.
Finally, personification is a figure of speech in which human traits are attributed to inanimate objects. In the sentence, the author says the walls screamed, which is, realistically speaking, impossible. It is simply a way to emphasize the feeling of loneliness.
