A Flag with 50 Stars
The first American flag to have red and white stripes and white stars on a blue field was flown in 1776, shortly after the United States declared its independence from Great Britain. Legend has it that a Philadelphia seamstress named Betsy Ross was hired by George Washington himself to create this flag. There is no evidence that this legend is true, and no one knows for certain who made the first flag, which had 13 stars and 13 stripes. However, we know for a fact that the first flag to have 50 stars—the one we have today—was designed by a high school student.
In 1958, Bob Heft was a 17-year-old student at Lancaster High School in Ohio. At that time, the United States had only 48 states but was on the verge of accepting two more: Alaska and Hawaii. The U.S. flag at the time had six neat rows of eight stars each. What would be the best way to add two more stars while keeping the arrangement neat and orderly? This was the question that Bob’s history teacher posed to the class.
The teacher gave the students an assignment: design a flag with 50 stars. Bob spent hours in the attic of his house, cutting up a 48-star flag and rearranging the stars until they fit just right. He was pleased with his solution to the problem, but his teacher found it less than perfect and gave him a B minus. Outraged, Bob told his teacher that he was going to send his design to his member of Congress, Walter Moeller. His teacher replied that if Bob’s design was accepted as the new flag, he would be more than happy to change the grade to an A.
A year later, Bob had graduated and was working as a draftsman when he received a call at work. He never would have imagined a call from President Eisenhower—but that's who it was! Now that Alaska and Hawaii had been admitted as states, Congressman Moeller had succeeded in having Bob's design chosen as the new U.S. flag. Bob Heft was invited to Washington, D.C., for a ceremony during which his design was officially adopted as the new flag of the United States.

Equality in the workplace
Answer:
Hey mate.....
Explanation:
This is ur answer.....
ARTICLEEquality in the workplace
Equality in the workplace means equal job opportunities and fairness for employees and job applicants. You must not treat people unfairly because of reasons protected by discrimination law ('protected characteristics'). For example, because of a person's sex, age or race. The aims of equality and diversity are simple: to ensure that everyone has access to the same opportunities and the same, fair treatment. If you actively promote equality and diversity (and have a policy to match) then your business will thrive and people of all backgrounds can come together and achieve success. The term "equal opportunities" is a broadly used phrase which promotes the idea that everyone within an organization should have an equal chance to apply and be selected for posts, to be trained and/or promoted and to have their employment terminated equally and fairly. Embracing diversity and providing equality goes a long way in promoting a work culture which values talent beyond stereotypes and helps people reach their potential by contributing their best beyond any prejudice. Moreover, an inclusive workplace fosters better productivity and efficiency....

This student is arguing against school choice. Which statement best serves as the writer's claim?
School Choice: Good Intentions, Extremely Harmful
Since the desegregation of schools in America, the question of school choice has been at the center of many heated debates. Some argue that charter schools or school
choice programs put public schools at risk. Those people also argue that some neighborhood schools would suffer if kids had the freedom to commute to schools of their
choice. Others argue that parents should control where their students learn, even if it means going to a school outside of their zoned area. However, school choice highlights
problems with the inequities in the school system. All schools should provide students with quality education and school choice prevents that from happening.

Answer:
There are three types of goals- process, performance, and outcome goals.

1. Process goals are specific actions or ‘processes’ of performing. For example, aiming to study for 2 hours after dinner every day . Process goals are 100% controllable by the individual.
2. Performance goals are based on personal standard. For example, aiming to achieve a 3.5 GPA. Personal goals are mostly controllable.

Educations and training are the important tools that control the job opportunities for each individual. Higher education helps you get more prestigious jobs with good compensation while a low level of education occasionally does not offer you high payable jobs.
Medical professionals have different ways to maintain their job opportunities, engineers have different approaches, and similarly, every job is meant on the basis of your education, training, and skills.
