The diagram above shows a cell placed in a beaker with salt water. The cell is permeable only to water. What will happen to the cell?
Answer:
It will swell
Explanation:
Since it is only permeable to water, the cell will try and reach homeostasis with it surroundings (it will take in water to decrease the concentration of salt in the cell).

What are the 3 main processes common between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems?
Answer:
Three main processes that are common between these are that they both make food through photosynthesis, they both perform transpiration, and they both need sunlight in order to process chemical energy.
I really hope this helped and have a great day! :)
The process that are seen in both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems are;
Transpiration process
Photosynthesis for food synthesis
Energy through sunlight.
An ecosystem can be regarded as geographic area which contains plant as well as animals with other organisms and weather and landscape and they all carried out different functions so that bubble of life is formed.Ecosystem could be terrestrial as well as aquatic ecosystems.An aquatic ecosystem can be regarded as types of ecosystem containing body of water. In contrast to terrestrial ecosystems that is associated to land, there are Communities of organisms that their dependent is on each other as well as the environment all live in aquatic ecosystems.Aquatic ecosystems could contains body of oceans as well as lakes rivers, and stream.Terrestrial ecosystem can be regarded as community of organisms that dominate land, as well as interactions that exist between biotic as well as abiotic components in a given area. Some of terrestrial ecosystems are tundra, taigas as well as temperate deciduous forests and tropical rainforests.Some of the processes that can be attributed to both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems are;
Making of their food could be through photosynthesis, this is the process whereby plant makes their food through the energy from sunlight.Sunlight is required as a source to process energy. Transpiration can be regarded as process involving movement of water through a plant, this could also encompass the evaporation of this water from aerial parts which could be in the leaves as well as stems and flowers.Therefore, both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems have some process in common.

how does the earth evlove around the sun while the moon evlolves around the earth with out those two planets colliding
Answer:
This is a rather complicated thing to explain so I'll try my best. To put it in simple term the sun has whats called a SOI (sphere of infleunce) and anything inside of this is effected by the gravity of that planet or sun in this case. The earth is inside of this sphere of influence. The earth has a constant velocity that is making it move away from the sun but since it's in the suns SOI the path in which the earth moves is changed in a way that causes it to spin around the sun. The same thing is happening with the moon. I'm not 100% sure on this but I think the reason the moon does not just fly away towards the sun is because it is closer to earth and is more effected by earths SOI. Hope this cleared things up for you.

PLS HELP ASAP Select the word that means how easily water can move through a substance. Lesson 2.03 o particles permeability porosity
Answer:
permeability
Explanation:
dictionary definition: the state/quality of a material or membrane that causes it to allow liquids or gases to pass through it
in biology we use this term to describe the cell membrane, it is "semi-permeable" because it allows certain gasses and molecules to pass through
The water can easily move through a substance and it is called permeability. Hence, option B is correct.
What is permeability?The ability of molecules to pass through a biological membrane or barrier is known as biological permeability. Because cell membranes are selectively impermeable, substances cannot pass through the barrier without consideration. Some of the characteristics that affect permeability include polarity, hydrophobicity, charge, size, and shape.
The metabolic activities, survival, and potential use of the cell in both biotechnological applications and physiological systems are all greatly impacted by the cell membrane permeability, which controls the rate of solute transport into and out of the cell.
The water can easily move through a substance when the substance is permeable. Hence, option B is correct.
