There are several types of Monera that are harmful to humans. Research a harmful monera (salmonella is an example) and write a two paragraph description of the monera. Include how it can make humans sick, how humans can come in contact with it and a diagram.
Will give brainliest please help :(
Answer:
The Monera Kingdom consists of all bacteria. Bacteria are one-celled organisms that are made of very simple components. They often lack a nucleus and a cell membrane. Bacteria are universal in that they can be found everywhere. They are even some living in the air you breathe. There are some harmful bacteria that can cause illness and disease and there are others that are essential for us to survive. Bacteria help to break down dead matter and also food in our digestive system.
Most organisms in the Monera Kingdom are able to reproduce through a process called fission. This means that a single cell copies its DNA and then divides into two identical cells. Because each cell comes from a previous cell, there is not much diversity among certain monera types. Some moneran bacteria replicate every 20 to 40 minutes.
The bacteria of the Monera Kingdom have some very unique and interesting characteristics. They can exist almost anywhere and are very tolerant of both extremely high and low temperatures. Some monera have the ability to move using their flagella but others cannot move on their own.
There are a few monera that can make their own food but bacteria cannot. Bacteria feed on dead and decaying matter. Blue-green bacteria or blue-green algae are a special type of moneran bacteria that can produce its own food through photosynthesis. This is because blue-green bacteria contain chlorophyll.

Declining genetic diversity is a result of both human activities and natural disasters. Classify the images as natural disasters or human activities.
Answer:
Natural Disaster: A and D
Human Activity: B and C
Explanation: This is what it looked like to me. The volcano and the cracking were caused by the Earth. And the Car and the cutting down of trees was caused by Humans.
Answer:
A & D in Natural Disaster. B & C in Human Activity.
Explanation:
Volcanos were not build by mankind nor do we control the blast. The sand cracking is not because of Mankind. Cars were built by mankind and the smoking of it is because of us. Trees don't cut themselves mankind does.
How did the concept of biodiversity originally gain traction in the scientific community?
Answer:
Explanation:Raymond Dasmann was the first person who used the term Biological diversity in 1968. He was a wildlife scientist and conservationist. But this term gain attraction in the scientific community in the 1980s.
So during 1980s the scientific community and activists were concerned about the extinction of biodiversity so this topic gain attraction as a research subject among the scientific community.
The issue of biodiversity was first published in 1987 in journal Conservation Biology which soon popularized the concept of biodiversity and became the main journal for publication of scientific research on biodiversity.
Therefore through publication, the term biodiversity appeared which gain attraction in the scientific community, society and in politics.

14. Karim brings a chair from the backyard into his house and is going to stack it on top of another chair. Both chairs are the same size and have the same number of molecules. The diagram above shows the chairs before they touch. Use the information in the diagram to answer the question.
How does the temperature of the bottom chair compare with the temperature of the top chair before the chairs touch? What will happen after the chairs have been touching for a while?
a Before the chairs touch, the bottom chair is cooler than the top chair. Once the chairs are touching, the top chair will transfer kinetic energy to the molecules in the cooler bottom chair until both chairs reach the same temperature, which will be in between their starting temperatures.
b Before the chairs touch, the bottom chair is hotter than the top chair. Once the chairs are touching, the bottom chair will transfer kinetic energy to the molecules in the cooler top chair until both chairs reach the same temperature, which will be in between their starting temperatures.
c Before the chairs touch, the chairs are different temperatures. Once the chairs are touching, both kinetic energy and cold energy will transfer between the molecules in the two chairs until both chairs reach the same temperature, which will be in between their starting temperatures.
d Before the chairs touch, the bottom chair is hotter than the top chair. Once the chairs are touching, the cooler top chair will gain kinetic energy until the molecules in both chairs have an energy of 35, because hotter things increase the temperature of cooler things.

Research Metamorphosis. Find out more about complete and incomplete metamorphosis in animals. Do research in your library, online, or using home encyclopedias. Find one animal that undergoes complete metamorphosis and one that undergoes incomplete metamorphosis. Write a two paragraph report about each animal and include a diagram of the organisms life cycle.
Anwer:
An Insect.
An invertebrate animal with 6 legs and an exoskeleton. They breathe through holes in their exoskeleton and reproduce by laying eggs which then undergo either complete or incomplete metamorphosis until they reach adulthood.
Why do vestigial structures not always disappear and still show up in organism? For example humans still have a tail bone, even though we don't have a tail.
1) The organism depends on them to survive
2) The structure is not harmful to the organisms survival
3)Sticks around just incase we need it again
4)The structure makes the organism look cooler
Answer:
3 would be my best guess
Explanation:
we dont depend on it
its not harmful but that wouldn't be a reason to have it
it doesnt look cool
